I like how easily Omnisend integrates with Shopify. Mailchimp used to, however it stopped. So I now use Omnisend instead.
There isn't much that I don't like about it to be completely honest.
I am able to automate my emailing from my website. I am able to capture peoples email info once they visit my website, offer promotional discounts and send them emails once they fill out forms. I am also able to email my entire list during any period for any specific reason. All around, it fills all of the voids I needed from an email service provider.
How easy it is to insert products into emails and create segments of users based on shopping behaviors.
Very similar to mailchimp but things are in different places which can be frustrating.
The benefits of shopping behavior segments has been a new feature for us, which is helping to solve marketing issues.
Their channel is very user friendly and encompasses many different features.

Helpful staff that are able to answer my questions around the clock. Pricing is pretty competitive with respect to how many features are available. Also many email automation triggers are available that other email marketing services don't provide. I especially like the automations that trigger when customer enters a segment.
Unable to reference the same discount code that was sent earlier to a customer again later on in the same automation (Conversio and Klaviyo can do this). So for Omnisend to get on the next level, something simple like that should be implemented. Especially when discount codes are important for e-commerce marketing. And when you have automations sending customers reminder emails in the last 24-48 hours of a discount coupon campaign. Also needs more ways to set up entry triggers or let certain automation emails be skipped for customers who have received certain automation emails. Right now, you can filter by which campaigns (email blast) a client has been sent. But you cannot filter out emails by what automation emails were sent. This would make my life easier. Would also like if omnisend could set up segments for VIP customers, at-risk customers etc, like other EMS services do. And would like if Omnisend had the ability to show more data in an easier to view way. IE. how many new emails did we collect each day? How many came from which form? Right now, I can only see total number of emails sent in an automation. That isn't very helpful when you have anywhere from 3-10 emails in an automation......
I'm able to set up many email automations on my own, and set up complex triggers that I couldn't with other email marketing services. Especially like being able to send out customer Receipts as an automation!
I love the templates and how easy it is to make a nice looking newsletter.
No mobile app. No search feature for audience.
It helps get lots of our links out there at once.
The customer support has been great. We appreciate the live chat feature and the helpful guidance as we transition from MailChimp

The live view is a huge bonus. The Ominsend support team has helped us set up lists and automated welcome campaign.

This app has many features that every store must have. You may not use all at first but as your store grows you will find a use for all.

Paying for too many apps to manage our store with.
This program is easy to use and its editor is very similar (if not based on) MailChimp. It's easy to get emails up and running, and the integration to Shopify presents powerful sales/ROI reporting. Another fantastic aspect is the support team. They are very responsive and helpful.
I wish it had more font options. The editing features in general could be a bit more robust, but I think that they are working on that. The challenge is making the emails match the Shopify store branding.

Omnisend was really easy to set up and use. I saw results right away with the Live Report of my site. This information helped me understand the strength of the Facebook Ad I was currently running and typical daily use. The Ad really did push people to my website! Also the newsletter and forms were a snap to set up. I highly recommend the free set up call they offer.
I wish there was a way to retarget customers who visit the website but who don't leave an email address.

Omnisend integration with Shopify allows you to bring photos and descriptions straight from your websites product page to email. This function is a great time saver. I easily copy-pasted email automation ideas from Johnlewis.com and other big players into my ecommerce store without development.

I like how reactive they are to requests for changes we ask for. Different tools or reporting things we have asked for have been created.
There are key elements missing that you can find on many other email platforms. Especially for e-commerce brands, there are lots of little things that would be helpful to have.

Sanya was extremely prompt in replying to my emails and very clear and informative with her explanations. There are many options regarding layout, and it is relatively easy to navigate.

It still lacks a lot of features that would be nice. Some are more basic like segment target options while others like A/B testing could be improved.
