Zoho was the best alternative I found to manage my database of companies and candidates. Simple, functional and affordable.
Some tables (like industries) are limited. There could be more flexibility to serve a larger number of companies.
We are a staffing company. The system helps us to manage the search and recruit candidates process for our clients.
Complete package, meets my requirements as recruitment agents
because of so many options it can get complex.
recruitment
I found setting up Zoho Recruit super easy.
Trial period was too short to make a serious enterprise wide decision.
Resume Parsing Resume import
I love the integrating with indeed and linkedin. Also emails I can send to recruiters via zoho
a lot of maneuvering when it comes to setting up each recruiters profile.
The business problem I am solving is having everything from billing, contracts and emails in the same software.
The layout and tracking simplifies my process tremendously.
Nothing so far. I don't have enough time using it to have found a short coming yet.
Job and applicant tracking.
Coming from the corporate recruiting world, I knew I needed the functionality and performance I was used to but with at a price business my size could afford. ZOHO was the solution.
The interface is fairly intuitive. I have had some difficulty in uploading certain types of files but that may have more to do with our internal systems rather than Zoho.
Zoho provides much of the functionality I'm used to in larger, more robust systems, but in a size and at a cost that is perfect for managing the needs of my business.
It clearly segregates the functionalities and UI is quite sorted
Can't comment right now as many if the features were not usable 100% due to trial version.
Systematically maintaining recruitment data
The flexibility, you can edit a lot of fonction
You have to set everything to your taste
Zoho will help with the selection of the candidate and all the process behind the recruitment.
Relatively user friendly, good customer support, functions that our company needs.
Would like a bit more integrative functionality with customization.
Contact Management
Zoho provides the required talent acquisition and recruitment features out-of-the box. It is affordable for SMB and nonprofits.
It lacks the ability automatically to rate candidates against specific job requirements using algorithms.
As a nonprofit, we were looking for a simple-to-use, low-cost recruiting portal. Zoho Recruit delivers this and more with integration to Zoho CRM. Zoho is quickly becoming our one-stop-shop.
Connectivity is great, helps automate a lot of work
Customer Service is a bit iffy to get in touch with
MSD and Staff Aug automation
The software has a very intuitive feel for an experienced recruiter and is simple to get up to speed for new recruiters.
Happy with all the features at this time
Zoho Recruit allows us to streamline the entire recruiting - placement process, integrating our careers web page and doing it all in a simple easy to start up process. We've saved tons of time versus the basic bootstrapping manual processes we may have had to use otherwise.
Many systems require a ton of training and constant updating. Zoho is pretty much self explanatory and really inexpensive. The ability to link candidates with roles etc and monitor each campaigns progress is terrific. The system is easy to scale up / down and great value for money.
Cant think of anything that I didnt think was great.
Keeping track of roles / status etc Keeping track of applicants Matching which applicants fit which roles
Zoho Recruit has a simple interface and also integrates with other tools in my recruitment stack.
Sometimes flipping between modules can get tedious.
I needed a system that was a good point of truth for the contacts that I am engaging with and Zoho Recruit has provided me with this service.
CV database, resume parsing, resume email.
I find the Search Algorithm difficult to use because lots of CVs without proper keywords gets lost in the data base
CV database management, Workflow automation. Relationship management and communication, recruitment marketing
Links with Linkedin.com and implementation tools for candidates.
Dashboard and mainmenu. To much to go through for only use of recuit
Search for candidates and history.
I have worked with Zoho CRM in the past and recently moved to Zoho for my applicant tracking system. First and foremost, the pricing for Zoho is very good especially for small staffing firms that are solo or have only a few people. Second, in my experience, the resume parsing feature is excellent and can take information from many formats and auto populate. I also love their integration with Indeed especially if you only buy their standard package. I have used many applicant tracking systems
So far, I am a little confused on customization
I was looking for a less expensive application tracking system that could give me the functionality I needed at a lower price and found it with Zoho.
We engage in permanent placement, 100% passive candidate recruiting. So all jobs in our system come from us and all candidates are found entered by us. We don't find candidates on job boards. For our use the system was easy in that allowed xlxs and csv file uploads and parsed quickly an easily. You can search easily and go through saved lists with ease as well.
That you are unable to delete/edit their standard fields. That the introduction versions stated it would allow you to test the mass mail but limited to 500 email, but then did not so I was unable to test it. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS LACKING in knowledge and ability to communicate. Candidate search algorithm issues but there is a work around. Not as easy to search as other systems.
ease of use and ability to upload xls sheets as well as exporting them.
Free trial, accessibility and portability. Customer Service is very good. The interface (GUI) is easy to follow. Double layer of security. Low cost to implement.
The time it takes to set up full functionality however, I know it will pay off in the long run.
ICT and Engineering recruitment. Data management and tracking. Searching on candidates.
I can keep track of resumes submitted with ease.
Nothing, I have not had any problems with the system.
I now am better organized and I can attract better candidates to my jobs postings than before using zoho.
