Gist's Live Chat is very easy to administer from email, desktop, and mobile app, and syncs seamlessly between the 3.
Lacks the polish of mature platforms like Hubspot, but it's a minor inconvenience.
Live Chat is easy to implement on any website and syncs perfectly making it easy for me to talk to site visitors.
Gist can easily replace a system like Active Campaign. I love that it comes with a knowledgebase, support ticket center, live view, and a ton of other stuff.
Email deliverability is iffy at best. While they have improved, some of my support emails to customers go into their spam box. They don't receive it and assume I never responded. Email templates are also lackluster, and you can't yet customize the colored bar. No shopify app to date.
Gist is a great all-in-one platform. It has easily replaced four apps/subscriptions.

The range of functionality and tool set of the platform has great potential. It's easy to set up and use.
There is NO customer service. It literally takes months to hear back from anyone there. We also generated more than $1200 in affiliate revenue and they have not paid out a cent of it.
It's a good centralized comms platform
I really love how easy it is to add chat to my site and other sites. The knowledge base is a major plus. They just launched drip campaigns. My customers are now engaging constantly with me and getting the info they need. I can immediately get a notification in my phone and chat with customers on a mobile app. Now with automations, merge tags, filters, etc I can always see where my customers lie. It’s fantastic!
The mobile app needs serious attention. It's pretty poor. When you get notified about a chat, you can click on the notification to open the app. Then you type your response to the customer/client … click enter to send … and it says it sends and then clears your entire response. So, you have to force quit the app, open it up and find the message you want to reply to … to be able to chat with the customer / client. That's it. There's only the option to chat or close the conversation. So, if you need to use a mobile app for chat, Gist is not your app. Beyond that, there aren’t too many downsides to this application. I wouldn’t say that developers are fairly quick at implementing new teachers and I really enjoy the use of this app. I do wish deliverability % was slightly higher, but that’s just a matter of time.
Currently have issues where customer interest drops off because there was no live chat.

I do not dislike anything. GIST has a LOT of functions and it's not always so easy to understand which tool to use for a specific goal. They have many article and videos, but I would suggest to add more documentation for advanced functions and scenarios. The support team is always available and ready to help though.

I'd say the most important part is to know what you want to do with your own data and communication, and in most cases, Gist is more than capable to handle it.

Besides the chatbot, the email marketing capabilities and so much more, Gist support is one of the best features to like of Gist. They are always there and effective.
Though Gist isn't perfect, I'm yet to find something I dislike that it's support hasn't quickly addressed.

I have used many platforms and I found Gist to have the most reliable mobile app. Gone are the days when I had to find unhappy customers at the end of the day, due to notifications not being pushed timely to my phone. Setup is very easy for a non-techy person like me! I work more on the creative side of things but I was able to set up the app to be up & running within a few minutes. Plus, their support is amazing! Interface is nice and chat widget is customizable. It comes with a booking feature that integrates with our team calendar. Love the snippets feature & integrations with many other apps that we use is a bonus. Custom domain feature is the best!
I haven't used the "assistant" feature. This is the only part I did not really get so easily and I would probably need more time to set it up. I also requested a feature to be able to setup a contact form that will go straight to conversations/inbox. At the moment, we use a separate Contact Form on the website.
We run a healthy food & beverage startup and live chat is very important for us with customers who need immediate assistance. I could easily chat with them on the go without delays providing better customer service. Our customers are very happy! We also receive quite a lof emails and we use the team inbox which is very reliable. The ability to send email broadcasts has helped with our sales & affiliate systems... emails don't go to spam!
I love the service that I receive from Gist. They are very responsive when I need help and make updates that fit my needs. They helped me transition from my previous provider, helped me set up my sales funnels and more. They go above and beyond my expectations. I don't know what I would do without the great service and care that the Gist Team provides for me. I feel like a VIP.
They made lots of improvements over the years that I absolutely love. I have not complaints.

The learningcurve is a bit steap especially with the automation in relation to mailcontacts but once you get it working, it's awesome!

I'm actually shocked at how similar this is to the competition but at a much much lower price. You don't understand how awesome the product is unless you come from something else that is almost identical. In this case, an exact replica with almost all of the same features but with a much lower pricing hassle is a huge win here. I wish I found this sooner. It literally does all the Marketing, Sales, Support aspects that the other service provides but at ONE price. Its incredible how similar they are too.
I wish their live chat support worked during US hours. I often have to wait until the next day to get the appropriate response or get the fixes I need; however, I'm ok with it.

GIST is one of the best all-in-one business solutions for especially SAAS companies, also helping integrated and connected with each module which you were waiting for. Messenger, e-mail, collision detection, tracking, prompts, tags, automation, insights, help centre and many more features are waiting for discovery. Those are my favourites by the way. There is one more thing: has a free tier in pricing :)
I couldn't see any wrong or glitch but maybe more integration would be good for application and users.

Gist is not just a chat platform, they evolved over the period of time and now offers almost all necessary features. Best part is, they never stopped delighting us by adding new features.
I won't say dislike but I would prefer to have more features on mobile apps.
