I liked it was efficient, quick, and a good value. The blog post I needed was very well written and on point. Very professional.
There really was nothing I did not like about the service.
I needed well-written content and it worked very well. I created the job I needed, set the budget, and got the product I needed. Any corrections were wasy to submit and get the corrected version sent over. I was able to complete the job prior to deadline.
Better quality of clients then any other freelance platforms.
Recently for the last 6 months, many new projects are posted which are ended with not hiring anyone. Whcih as a result, we are losing a lot of time on the proposal we are submitting. And also loosing many good projects in between them. So I think all clients should have a verified payment method.
As I am a full-time freelancer on Upwork so it helps me in all my financial needs.
Upwork affords me the ability to run a lean operation without adding overhead. The ability to ask interview questions prior to adding a contractor is a huge bonus. Additionally, the ability to see how well a contractor was viewed for previous work is great.
For my situation and needs, Upwork checks all the boxes. There's nothing I dislike.
The platform allows me to scale up or down depending on workflows. The ability to hire a analsyt from the industry that has the needed skill set is huge. The means a small firm like myself is not bothered down with having to train someone. I can hire and then focus on my task at hand.
Upwork provides a great source for tech gigs. It provides a handy solution where one can apply for a open position and one can recruit a resource easily. It provides an in-depth global requirements.
One thing which normally does not like is : upwork makes the account to private mode if you have not done business for quite some time. My request is that we keep on trying and due to amount of applications we may not get project. This feature can be looked and can be avoided and can provide opportunity to all. The amount withdrawn limit can be reducted to $20 and now it is $100.
The benefits are real as the money is paid in time as agreed and planned. As a freelancer I get opportunities and hence my professional work problems are solved remotely.
The platform is very straightforward and easy to use. As long as you comply with the requirements you can start immediately.
You might get a couple of bogus offers now and then, so you must be careful.

The amount of time it takes for the money to be available is too high. Also, the 20% fee Upwork keeps from your earnings can hurt. That only goes down when you have long term contracts, but the people like me that work per contract with many different clients have to pay that 20% almost all the time.
With Upwork I've been able to develop my own business and live from it. I'm my own boss and I can tackle everything my own way. It hasn't been easy, but it is worth every single fight

It's an amazing platform. It brings in a lot of opportunities for people like us. Some of the things which are great are: a) Awesome support. b) Good quality projects c) Reasonable membership d) Easy withdrawal process. e) Good communication tools, especially in the messages module. f) Search filters are amazing. Suggestion - With the new WHT for India, we should know where the tax will reflect. I have been checking my 26-AS constantly but to date that doesn't reflect. Also, a separate report should be made available in the Agency to know how much Tax has been withheld with date filters available to download that report. This helps a big deal in our taxation.
It's getting more inclined towards freelancers and with this, the buyers are not much inclined towards agency buyers. Now that we have our businesses running on Upwork, we face issues in this. Upwork should work something to make it with a neutral approach. We are not against the freelancer model but agencies would also be equally thought about. Upwork should bring back the Elance feature of updating the cover letter after submission. If by chance the cover letter gets submitted with some mistake, there is no way to edit it.
We have been able to create employment with the Upwork platform and have been able to help team members by guiding them to get work. It's a good platform. Especially in the Pandemic, it has helped people earn their living when they got jobless. We also make people aware of Upwork platform and have helped them get used to it and become a freelancer by offering their services which they are good at.
I like how easy it is to meet new clients and having a no hassle and protected payment structures where I’m still in control of how much I charge and what kind of projects I’m willing to accept. They make freelancing and owning a business more enjoyable.
The fees are quite high at 20%. Their conversion rate is beyond high at 12% of 12 months earnings.
Upwork’s marketplace allows me to meet diverse, global client organizations and win contracts quickly. They cut out a big chunk of the marketing work for me, so even though I think their fees are still high at 0%, they do cut down my “unpaid” work significantly.

There is nothing to dislike but one thing I would mention here is like they filter freelancer's profile they should also do something from employers as many of them are fake and wastes time and connect.

Actually, I don't remember anything in serious that I dislike. If I want to say something, first thing is Upwork's fees on freelancers for low budget projects. Also, it would be great if Upwork could bring more filter options for filtering freelancers, so that it will be easy to find the right talent for each kind of project.
I can work with projects that I like the most, in ease & flexibly at my own timeline. That's really important for me. Also, I can get required talent from different parts of the world for various projects. It is very easy to get right candidate thru Upwork than conventional employee recruitment process.
