What do you like best about Jira?

It's great for Query management, as well as it's highly customizable. Its slash command is brilliant, you can assign the tickets/queries easily to anyone in the network. It helps to create a wide network of employees dealing with different queries at the same time.

What do you dislike about Jira?

Although. it's good enough to work on but, it's not really easy to understand for a beginner because of its features and different technicalities. Its complicated user interface can make managing tasks difficult.

What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps a lot in resolving the tickets in the assigned time frame because of its efficiency in managing the SLA to avoid the breach of the time frame in which the query should be resolved.

Creating cases, working on current issues, in-progress topics, closing cases, searching for similar cases, etc., are easily accessible due to the Jira Platform. Keeping an eye on everything is pretty easy.

What do you like best about Jira?

I can create and link tasks at the same time I can keep track of my progress and the team's progress on each sprint. This makes it easier for teams to collaborate well

What do you dislike about Jira?

I dislike the mobile version because I feel limited in terms of creating and editing the description of tickets. It's also good to have more tools to be incorporated other than Figma

"Review of jira tool which is very useful software development tool"
What do you like best about Jira?

It allows us to create any type of issue like bug issue, story, task , subtask etc. It's automatically generate the report in form of graph which helps to find out the burndown of all team tasks. There are many tabs which is very useful like backlog tab , active sprint tab, report tab etc. It allows to customize the sprint board.

What do you dislike about Jira?

The user interface is very complicated first time user will find difficulty to use it. We cannot able to reuse the report. It should have a built it communication feature with your team. I cannot able to upload the large files in jira.

What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?

It tracks the whole team task parallely we does not required to even tab the switch to track the team task its even provide the tabs also to see the individual task. I doesn't have to make a report with any other tool as it has auto generate report feature.

What do you like best about Jira?

It is having friendly user interface which allows you to use the jira more conveniently. It allows to track the working and requests project vise. It is also working as a great storage platform for your day to day working with track of the person completing the task.

What do you dislike about Jira?

The only feature which is not available in jira is in creation of multiple tickets through csv, the linking with parent ticket can not be performed hence it should be done manually.

What do you like best about Jira?

I really love the range of options I have for creating dashboards with various charts, lists and analysis tools. I also love the entire integration of JIRA, crucible and git.

What do you dislike about Jira?

It is a bit more expensive than other similar tools, but if you have large number of users in your company or project, the price will definitely be worth it for sure.

What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?

I've used JIRA in a company of more than 1000 people and also with a team of just 10. JIRA satisfied the need of both the audience groups.

dynamic design, easy to use, configure workflows, can open a lot of boards, related projects with related tasks, time management, priority and severity, can open production bug portal.

What do you dislike about Jira?

can't configure resolution easily, and can't create custom graphs in the dashboard.

What do you like best about Jira?

1) The creation process of Jira tickets. It is very easy to create Jira tickets. 2) UI is very intuitive, informative and easy to use. 3) Allows creation of multiple types of issues ranging from sub tasks, tasks to stories, bugs, defects and epics. 4) Everything related to project management can be easily recorded on jira. Whether it is estimation of efforts, sprint planning, sprint cycle, assignment of issues, creator of issues, Start Date, End Date, etc. 5) Provides Kanban board which gives a clear picture of the efficiency of the team after each sprint cycle. Also provides burndown charts which actually give you very accurate productivity of individual team member's as well as consolidated efforts of entire team. 6) Also, provides facilities of maintaining stories not only for active sprints, but even for backlogs, watch stories etc. 7) Provides workflows and transition timelines, every time any activity is performed on any Jira issue. This ensures better traceability.

What do you dislike about Jira?

1) There is no built in timeline to track a project's progress. Product owner / Scrum master has to manually set the time for each sprint. 2) There should be an additional feature, wherein we can record and track our future ideas, scope and velocity of every product. 3) At times, it can be slow in loading the dashboard, because of huge queries running behind the scenes.

1) Project management workflow becomes super smooth through Jira since it provides various types of customised dashboards, supports agile working and tracking. 2) Management and leadership gets a clear view about the ongoings on ground, which helps in decision making. 3) Individuals can track their efforts and progress on a daily basis and accordingly can change their decisions, approaches and estimations. 4) Helps in capacity planning so that stories are taken up as per capacity and teams are not burdened to deliver more than their capacity.

What do you like best about Jira?

It's the best tool for project management and tracking bugs/issues. Collaborative teamwork becomes successful and smooth with this tool, it's easy to track all the updates in a big team, and it sends notifications whenever there is any modification or an update in work by any team member.

What do you dislike about Jira?

It's a little complex for first-time users, but it's beneficial once they get familiar. I only suggest a user guide or a pop-up explaining all the features; this will help them understand the tool independently without bothering another user.

It's best for tracking issues and managing projects in a big team. And tracking all the updates on the project by every member without bothering and asking individually. It sends notifications whenever a ticket is raised, which helps us know what task is assigned and your sprint progress. It's best for agile project management. It is extremely comprehensive in what it allows you to perform in terms of the breadth of actions available in the tool. It is not a mere ticketing system. It has the capacity to organize your organization

The notification system can be a bit smarter in realizing the important notifications from the non-important ones. I do not receive notifications on my main notification tab if someone does not tag me. And it can cause some disruption in workflow.

What do you like best about Jira?

Its ability to gather different project data at one place, like dashboards where we can see the team related, task related etc. data in various graphical format. Plus we can download reports as per requirement parameters too.

What do you dislike about Jira?

No inbuilt collaboration features to communicate with team. Yes, with third party software like slack, teams integration can solve this issue for now. Also by inclusion of too many customization features makes the Jira upgrade little bit difficult i.e. maybe not all apps or integration tools are compatible with other version.

What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?

Not many tools provides the option of tracking issues with prioritizing the same. It has better customization feature with good productivity. Because of its ease of use and it's scope to enhance makes its no. #1 tool for agile teams. And today people are following the agile model in very frequent manner (totally in demand)

That you can message the person that sent the ticket directly, keep everyone informed about the process of troubleshooting any issues we may have work with on a daily basis

they only send email notifications when a user updates a ticket, if there was a way to set mobile notifications it would be able to respond to any update on an existing case

What do you like best about Jira?

The way the user stories or tasks or epic goes through the different status of the JIRA dashboard allows the PM or team to quickly go through the quality of each ticket and promptly grab the project's current state. It integrates with third-party tools like GIT to track the recent development of the user story and the status until it is merged and pushed to the QA for testing.

What do you dislike about Jira?

The restriction of uploading the size of the files is currently set to 10 MB for the execution of the QA test cases and 25 MB at the ticket level. The recent cloud transition is not as user-friendly as compared to earlier versions. Search functionality in the cloud version needs to be improved further.

What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?

Right from the creation of the Dashboard to track the status of the project and run the stand-up based on the dashboard and perform the execution of the test-cases and addition of screenshots/videos/comments to grab the attention of the respective user and track the defects status and follow-ups.
