Sage Business Cloud Accounting is a user- friendly accounting system. It is especially beneficial for the new clients that approach us to register new companies. We always recommend this accounting system for them as it is easy to train them as well as for the client to understand how the system works.
what i dislike about the sage business cloud accounting is that when it comes to bank duplicates, it isalways time consuming to do the recons because of the duplicates that come through the bank,

I have been using Sage Accounting for over a year now and as a practice, it is the only software we recommend. The Sage products are easy to navigate, easy to train on and if you are having troubles, the team at Sage are always at hand to help. There are some fantastic podcasts and blogs to help businesses grow, and they take on board any improvements you may recommend.
Doesn't always integrates with other software.
Sage allows me to access client's data and quickly edit transactions so that the client doesn't continue to make the same error. I can pick up on it quickly and share this with my client.
Work for International NGO in a multi-currency environment. This package is a dream to work with all the different countries and currencies we operate. Grant/Contract tracking is simple and easy. Reporting features allow the flexibility to respond to various needs.
Have not found anything I don't like, well maybe expensive for a non-profit but in the end the cost outways the benefits. I appreciate the product road adding new features.

The sync of the bank feeds is sometimes slow. It can be frustrating but nothing else that I can think off.
Get bank statement on time from clients automatic bank feed. Saving time and resources. Information is live and up to date to make financial decisions.
It's good cloud based software that you can work on at the same time as your client. The 24/7 phone support from Sage is valued highly by my clients.
It could improve on handling the Foreign Currency bank transactions

I see the payment updates, Age of Receivables per account view, able to downloas in EXCEL file which is very helpful in balancing my data entries with the souce document. I regulary enter a transactions for medical billing and I can balance this right away after all records were entered.
I do not know about the downside of Sage financials since I'm a new user and still learning on how to navigate. I wish I have the formal education on how to use Sage Accounting System.
The benefits are easy to balance, able to review accounts receivable payments, and Aging. So, I know everything that I entered are all correct. But since I am a new user I need formal training in order to be an expert using Sage financial software.

I am able to create forecasting insights that help the business . It's also easy to navigate through, user friendly. I like the report creation capabilities as well.
I found it was a bit cumbersome to organize the reports in a customized way. I also wish the invoice was a bit more dynamic to customize on a fly when needed.
We are able to create and send pricing proposals and eventually invoices to customers. Sage makes it easy to then track the revenue and expense and create financial reports.
In the age of AI, Pegg - the digital assistant that Sage provides slashes time and tediousness and helps you keep track of your transactions. Business owners / Exec Asst. / startup accountants can manage transactions on the fly. I really felt comfortable using it for a < 3m raised tech startup in tracking P&L and automating transactions. The interface is intuitive and worked like a charm on an iPad.
For newbie accountants or people used to Quickbooks, it can be a bit challenging initially. The dashboards are quite dissimilar so takes a bit of time getting used to. If you're used to traditional reporting system, this can be a new flair but nothing you can't pick up within weeks. The reporting tool isn't that sophisticated so if you're preparing it for audit purposes, might not be the best use of your time.
Just pure tracking of customer payments and outgoing supplier expenses for a tech startup. Nothing that crazy, just needed an accounting solution to show investors cash burn rates.
It's very easy to navigate. Very self explanatory.
It doesn't automatically update at the 1st of the month. I have to manually change dates.

Sage is an all-in-one software. We are able to perform many functions within this program.
Ever since we switched to a cloud environment Sage does not work properly. Customer service is not helpful.

It is pretty intuitive to use, I think it is great for a mid size company. Used to work well as a smaller company but the faster growing and more information, the harder it is for Sage/Intacct. The reporting, company dimensions, etc are great.
There are many limitations to companies that have multiple locations.It is difficult to tell which entity has the fluctuations in balances, which makes it difficult to investigate. There are issues with SOX compliance (i.e Journal Entry approval workflow). We have not been able to use many of the modules that Sage/Intacct has in place, we've had to purchase other modules from outside which make reconciliation more difficult. Every issue we have with Intacct seems like we'd have to go the route of professional services or change products entirely.
Reporting once you have set up all your companies parameters are great.
