Their platform is very easy to use. But it's the customer service that really sets Pinpointe apart.
Their user interface is a bit dated, but I hear that may be changing soon!
Across all our brands we send more than 20 newsletters each week. Pinpointe has helped us to create a very efficient process for setting up and sending these newsletters. Our newsletter open and click rates went up almost immediately when we started using Pinpointe. In addition, we send a multitude of emails to promote events, webinars, premium reports, etc. The drag-and-drop email builder in Pinpointe has made creating these mobile-friendly e-blasts easier than ever.
For us, this software is incredible, it offers different characteristics within a single system, variety and security, the result obtained by each of its tools is incredible, each one works and works correctly, the system Pinpointe has tools to carry out digital marketing, surveys and a comment system which is great so that users can offer an opinion or leave a review of the campaigns and thus can be used as future improvements.
We do not have any kind of problem regarding the system, it seems to me that it has been very complete and each one of the tools is very intuitive, the design system can improve in the future as well as that of surveys, but by entering more colors, texts or templates to offer something Innovative and fresh designs, yet it does not affect the functionality of the tools at all are optional ideas.
Marketing is much more massive reaching large numbers of customers and increasing our traffic, so the problem is solved with Pinpointe On-Demand a system very different from others because it not only offers a marketing and analytical system as systems usually offer, to in turn we can carry out surveys and reviews by users so it is very complete since we can not only expand marketing and traffic both in networks and on the web, as well as we can improve each advertising in the future.
We utilize the drag and drop campaign builder the most. It makes creating email blasts quick and easy. Uploading new contact lists is fast and painless. If I ever run into an issue or have a question, the message option gets me in direct contact with someone who can help work with me to solve the problem. Responses are always speedy and helpful. Overall, Pinpointe is easy to use and makes my job easier.
The only downside I have run in to is the difficulty of editing the blocks within an email / manipulating the shapes and lengths. We are a small marketing department so we don't have the time to code our own emails. So the builder is our easiest way to build emails; however I wish there was a little more freedom to edit shapes and designs within the builder.
I love the feature of sending test emails. We have a lot of departments in our company and most want to see what we are sending out. It's nice to be able to send them a preview email prior to sending it out. We have also been able to set up our first drip campaign within Pinpointe. The Pinpointe team helped us work with our IT team to set this up and made it easy for us to accomplish.
Personally, my favorite feature is being able receive a granular report of email campaign statistics. To find out how many bounces, unsubscribes, opens, and clicks is very useful information to use when it comes to moving forward with the leads/prospects. This info can be extracted into an excel file which helps sharing this information a breeze.
Depending on the amount of contacts, when I'm in the middle of uploading a list I get bumped out and have to submit a request to increase my dataset. This costs a bit of extra time but nothing major.
We're getting much more in depth statistics of what our email campaigns are providing us with. It's helpful for us to see exactly what's happening with the emails we're sending out thus enabling us to tweak our methods.
I really like that this gives me the availability to create custom branded templates and I can view or edit the HTML code when using the WYSIWYG editor.
Nothing - it all works good and when I have a problem their help desk is there to assist.

Pinpointe product/team that is great even when you have no industry or ESP knowledge. In fact, they helped us set the bar and gave us proper metrics to help scale our emailing, while improving our reputation. They held our hand every step of the way!
Cannot be used as an SMTP relay. This is not a dislike as much as it is, a disadvantage. This would allow marketing not just to Pinpointe prospects but also to internal clients.
Industry knowledge is a big deal. Given that when we started, we had no idea what to do to get our email delivered to people's inboxes, the training knowledge is just priceless.

We have used many ESPs over my tenure with this company, and Pinpointe has by far the most responsive and easy to work with tech support in the industry. Multiple options are available for you to reach out to them, including site chat. I've never had to wait long to receive a thorough explanation, fix, and/or walk-through from the team regarding any issues I've bumped up against.
I would like to be able to fully edit the HTML in both editors they have available.
We have been utilizing segmentation options extensively to ensure that we are sending targeted messaging to our customers on topics that they want to hear about. Our industry spans many sub-specialties as well as an audience that ranges from novice to skilled tradesmen and builders, so we want to be sure we're not over or under informing any one group.
I only got to experience it last year but u really enjoyed the program put really helped me at work.
They don't have a price point that is competitive for small senders, nor do they have a free account. Their target is higher volume and Enterprise The Campaign Builder is very easy to use and intuitive, however I would like to see additional templates added or more options for layouts within these templates
The deliverability is also better than any other system we have tested and they include great testing tools allowing for multi-variant/split testing. My favorite tool is the inbox preview which shows you 25+ inboxes and includes a pre-flight spam checker. Currently I am using their Enterprise edition which allows me to create dedicated sub accounts with an administrator account and additional configuration options.
