My favourite part about using Liquid Planner is the level of intuitiveness it has which helps in saving a lot of time in my workflow through its automated scheduling technique. In this aspect, Liquid Planner can automatically include in real-time, updates that would have been made during the progress of the project hence this means I do not need to manually update to keep up with changes. It promotes collaboration among users by allowing for conversations that will be connected to tasks which makes it easy to get everyone on the same page in terms of discussions and planning. More so it features the ability to support the attachment of documents in the conversations through Box, Google Drive and Dropbox hence integrations are very easy to establish.
It has a limited mobile version functionality compared to the web-based version which allows for the users like managers and supervisors to manage and customize tasks hence its mobile version is not standard.
Project tracking and updates have been one of the main challenging aspects in my workflow before using Liquid Planner since I had to do resort to manual updates and it used to be very exhausting since progress updates were very important to avoid task duplication. Liquid Planner has been very beneficial since it is capable of updating in real-time with ease.
Organized way to manage projects Easy to track time spent on a project Tracking percentage of time for different requestors to identify groups that we could contact to market our services Being able to track tasks of other team members working on the same project to more effectively work together Different views to look at projects amid other projects and track time for my own projects quickly Custom view to prioritize projects and add tags for reporting
In timesheet view, I would prefer to have a way to determine which projects/tasks show up there versus having it prepopulate and not being able to remove old projects/tasks.
We have identified groups at our company that don't use our services as much. This allowed us to engage with them to increase project requests.
Intuitive - the majority of features are easy and flying is a huge saver for time when dropping and dragging or perhaps renamening and changing tasks, project, workspace and folders, etc. Customer service has long been extremely responsive and also useful and user feedback has been listened to. Although I am not doing a remote phone system, the mobile application is great for all those that would like to help keep updated with teams and projects.
I do not like much, but it is a little more costly than several of another competitors that we've tried. However just as the expression is concerned, you frequently get everything you buy, and so the importance nonetheless stays high. Liquid Planner is a premier product.
Tracking large scale information as well as technology projects through a number of teams. It's made a few aspects of my work a lot more effective to operate analytical reports as well as budgeting and extract hours easily for the teams of mine by projects. The search feature makes it extremely simple even since decades to get jobs, tasks, notes or documents. Safely sharing documents and information is really simple, and with many remote folks working these days it is not necessary.
It is a satisfactory forum for working with since it enables big tasks with high performance, the service is nice to enable customers to focus their effort on making more solid and effective decision making on each of their needs and the service offers convenient access across online and mobile devices. I like the opportunities to build coherent automated processes for designing practices for sustainable action management that cause organizational priorities by incorporating robust management figures in line with access to instruments which appreciate the order in which their previously designed approaches to promoting the opening of project management plans are being applied.
Working with several tasks concurrently is a challenge that becomes very difficult, since the program becomes unreliable to deal with and sometimes absolutely useful information is lost, the software has a slight learning curve, since the device has some points with which that it is complex to operate if you do not have a clear understanding of its function. The control power performed by LiquidPlanner programming is impaired by an erroneous timetable of phase change focuses a disposition of execution of segmental strategies of managerial realization categorizations, they have shortcomings in their power to assign responsibilities for the implementation of speedy regulatory requirements of successful formative impulse theoretical contemplations.
The platform us in tracking all of our plans and helps us to draw up detailed plans and analyze all our assets; solving every issue. For further market growth activities, I would advise that the Liquid planer scheme offers some transparency. In any case, data helps one to manage smarter decisions to produce better outcomes. LiquidPlanner possesses the ability to evaluate the usefulness of predictable workload adaptation processes, where the system of this program could have the requisite multifarious organizational routine improvement to allow the enterprise to use a verifiable new articulated functionality to the equal and required proportion of the workload.
The simplicity of creating projects and processes in a software that provides all the necessary project management tools Visualization makes it easy to see if the processes have been entered correctly. People involved are informed and can exchange information, traceability is guaranteed.
There are only few possibilities for native integration with other software, unless you have a programmer in house who is familiar with integration via API.
Creation of projects with appropriate visualization tools such as Gantt graphs, communication platform for the employees involved and for the traceability of decisions and actions.
The ease of sharing information with our project team members. The ease of having all users perform their own updates and tracking progress.
We don't always use the system to track tasks based on level of effort or time tracking. It would be nice to track percents by number of tasks vs hours depending upon project.
I manage global finance transformation focused projects that require project team members in all locations of the world. Project plans are easily worked by all members and being able to provide real time updates to Executive management.
The item has been created so that it may be used properly by essentially small bar. Team members could have interaction with the software program and enter data based on the job of every person in the venture. The application does a fantastic job when utilized as intended, providing the required insights into the condition of the project. The program certainly lives up to the name of its, as it's so easy to change project blueprints and goals and their effect is essentially accessible immediately.
With regards to the LiquidPlanner, I've no specific negative. It requires some experience and training like any software program of the class to obtain the best out of it. The best advice of mine is usually to take some time to discover just how the designers planned to utilize the product appropriately. LP has a selection of functions and can bring about project management if thoroughly utilized.
We've essentially small team so we do not possess the resources to hold the info in LiquidPlanner. The LiquidPlanner is intuitive and accessible however, so we are able to help many staff to keep up project schedules in the work of theirs. For transient facets of task management, we utilize LiquidPlanner.
Liquid Planner is accurate and tells us exactly where our resources are committed. When we get a new project, within minutes we can determine when it can be done. We have 10 resources working on 5 major projects, 10 medium projects and hundreds of minor work - over 1000 tasks in the workspace - and we know exactly when it all can be done. Using the API we were easily able to get Liquid Planner and Zendesk to integrate as well. Has changed our company! I looked at several different products and this was the only one that instantly refreshed the schedule. The support team at LP are also fantastic.
The customer portal side could be better. It reveals too much data for us to use it on our customers.
Before Liquid Planner we just used to guess when we could do work and we never knew what we had promised to customers. We now get instant feedback on when it can be done. We lock in a promise date using the deadline feature and then if something happens to the plan to move that task beyond the promise date, we know about the issue and can easily solve it.
I like the flexibility the software has and allows us to customize our workflow.
I wish there was a way to show LP in real time.
It's helped our planning and scheduling work for different departments in a way that allows us to get the most done!
I love how easy it is to pull data and sort and export.
It can be a little clunky to add or find things with multiple projects.
Overall time tracker is number one and project management is number two.
We use the work in progress and complete to activity everyday to see deadlines and project progress.
Downside are that if you have a lot of projects it is hard to find them unless you search because the titles such as work and progress and Pipeline are right next to each other so you might not realize that you started a project.
We are keeping in control and not allowing our various projects to slip through the cracks.
I really like LP’s dashboard feature. It makes it easy to keep track of projects, time put to different tasks, and upcoming tasks.
I don’t always love the milestone features. Sometimes they don’t work correctly for my team. It is also a painpoint that if a parent folder has a date it overwrites the date of the tasks inside of it.
We are solving departmental gaps and cross-collaboration between teams at work. It also helps with time tracking.
I love the analytics, reports and data that can be pulled to make informed decisions in the best interest of production. Gives real-time estimates on job completion dates with high accuracy. It has helped to remove a glut of paperwork and streamlined all our processes to where we rely on LiquidPlanner alone for production purposes.
Training employees/customers up in its use can be time-consuming. To get the information you want from reports needs a high degree of knowledge of LiquidPlanner.
We couldnt accurately project job completion dates which we are now able to do. We have also made obsolete our paper systems as LiquidPlanner allows us to track times, costs, job completion rates, billable vs non-billable efficiencies.
The cards option. It is easy to manage and see the progress of every tasks.
Sometimes, there's too many options and view. It can be easily confusable for anyone how doesn't know the application.
It's used to see the deadline for each task, the progress and to see if we are in time. I can do what you want when you know how to use it.
Being able to use priority packets, using dashboards to create client update portals
The timesheet functionality is a bit clunky, the overall UI feels a little outdated and could use a refresh, the cost per seat is higher than others.
As someone who has come from MS Project, using this is a game changer. Being able to prioritize tasks for my day across multiple projects is such a great victory with this. I am able to act with confidence and get from task to task with extreme focus.
It is easy to control a project using liquidplanner. It's user friendly and affordable compared to other softwares.
So far it's good while using this great product, i can't complain of anything.
With it i am able to track and manage projects and tasks in an easy way.
I love that I can put in my working hours, and see exactly when I should finish each of my tasks. The organization is really great, and it makes it really easy to use.
It isn't always super accurate, I don't like that it shows each task being completed all at once, you can't really spread out the work for one task without making multiple tasks and still have your data be accurate.
I am better able to keep track of my team's progress on projects.
It can handle large scale companies with thousands of tasks and projects. I've been using it for 3+ years and it's been able to handle a lot.
If you are working on different tabs you have to be constantly refreshing the page to see your timer updated if you changed it from other tab. It would also be useful to have a robust export functionality for tasks and projects.
Task and timers management is done with LiquidPlanner. You are able to upload documents, make checklists, share with other members of the team, send comments, add notes, link other tasks and project, organize in packages, set deadlines, view resources being used and many other features that I don't actively use.
Resource capacity planning, the fact that you can see weekly tasks assigned to your resources, prioritization, load
not very good with grant charts views, estimate vs actual reports
better understanding of impact on overall projects when something is different than estimated; the way you can prioritize tasks, the way you can see your resources assignments
