"Create your website in minutes with Instapage."
What do you like best about Instapage?

I like to develop pages on this platform, since it has a variety of templates, all its options are in order, I don't miss anything, it gives me a variety of capabilities to be able to develop my website instantly, it is easy to use for any user without experience.

What do you dislike about Instapage?

The price is a bit high, but if it's worth it, I thought I was going to lose my money, but no, it was a good idea to use Instapage, on the other hand, I had some mistakes, because on some occasions, the saved changes were not published On my website, it's a very annoying thing and the support doesn't answer about that problem, it's the only thing I don't like, the rest is fine.

What problems is Instapage solving and how is that benefiting you?

It was a good decision for my business, especially with landing pages, it is very good since I increased the profits thanks to some landing pages hosted on Instapage, in addition to that I have created some personal websites and it seems fanatic all the options that offers.

"Easy to use Landing Page Creation Tool"
What do you like best about Instapage?

It's intuitive and easy to use. You don't need a html (or any coding) knowledge to be able to use this too.

What do you dislike about Instapage?

It's a little buggy. Sometimes integrations and changes made don't save as it should be.

What problems is Instapage solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps us create webinar landing page in 30-60mins.

"Instapage review"
What do you like best about Instapage?

I like that it is easy drag/drop or add content without needing to know how to code.

What do you dislike about Instapage?

I do not like that when you develop the desktop page that it doesn't always translate well to the mobile version. I also not like that you can't edit text when on the mobile version.

What problems is Instapage solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are creating webpages for our different events. It allows us to do this quickly without help from a web designer.

"There are better options if you don't have a lot of landing pages"
What do you like best about Instapage?

It's easy to design with once you have established templates. You don't need to be a developer to create a beautiful, funtional landing page in less than an hour.

What do you dislike about Instapage?

The onboarding was lengthy, the price was high, the templates they set-up for us were not what we were expecting. The customer experience just overall did not match what we thought we had been sold.

What problems is Instapage solving and how is that benefiting you?

We had the ability to creat and test landing pages at scale to multiple segments. We were able to have a unique landing page for each ad set for better user experience and attribution upon conversion.

"Can mock up quick landers but struggle with mobile versions"
What do you like best about Instapage?

If we want to include an element that Instapage doesn't support, we can write custom code to include it. It is easy to link to other pages, popups, or places on the page via buttons and forms. Our rep is also very responsive and knowledgeable about the product.

What do you dislike about Instapage?

My biggest complaint about Instapage is that it is difficult to build mobile pages if you want the desktop and mobile versions to have the same URL. You can link AMP pages to a standard experience, but you still have to update the mobile URL within the Google Ads UI, and this can get difficult to manage if there you have a lot of different landers for different campaigns and are constantly testing new ones. Another struggle I have is that elements will move a bit from building the page in the editor and previewing it, so you have to constantly preview to make sure that everything is placed properly.

What problems is Instapage solving and how is that benefiting you?

Allows us to roll out new landing page experiences and tests more quickly without having to rely on our engineering team.

"Great for big companies. Too much for smaller ones."
What do you like best about Instapage?

Instapage makes it easy to add pages to a website and build landing pages. The design tools are fairly intuitive and the WordPress plug-in makes it easy to place them into existing sites.

What do you dislike about Instapage?

The cost of the service is high, especially for a company that isn't driving thousands of visitors a month. For those, it's just as easy, and cheaper, to build a site on a site builder like SquareSpace or Wix. In addition, the inability to call and speak to a CSR or make modifications to your account (like canceling) by logging in was frustrating. You had to have a person help you, but you couldn't speak directly to a person.

What problems is Instapage solving and how is that benefiting you?

Instapage allowed us to launch landing pages quickly and to achieve a professional design without having to break our site's template or involve a professional programmer.

"It's intuitive & easy to use but very quirky at times"
What do you like best about Instapage?

Attractive templates, easy-to-use page editor (drag and drop), ability to toggle back & forth between desktop & mobile designs, global blocks that can be used across pages.

What do you dislike about Instapage?

What you see is not always what you get - for example, form sizing on mobile may differ between the landing page builder and the actual device page view. Integrations with platforms like Zapier feel wonky.

What problems is Instapage solving and how is that benefiting you?

This initially helped us move the needle from more basic developer-generated landing pages & forms to more graphic-friendly landing pages and forms. This improved our conversion rate quite a bit and freed up developer time. But, since then, we've used other builders like Paperform and Unbounce and had better results.

"Overpromise and underdeliver"
What do you like best about Instapage?

The tools to create slick-looking landing pages are not bad.

What do you dislike about Instapage?

They raised their prices (far beyond the value we were getting from them), promising tons of high-end features. We didn't see any great additional value. The customer service was also very stingy about the terms of their agreement wouldn't offer reasonable refunds or credits the way other companies do.

What problems is Instapage solving and how is that benefiting you?

Their pricing scheme is too inflexible. We used them very little, but they charged for a company that would use them to a much higher degree. They should consider a small business package for a company that only needs a couple of landing pages.

"Useful tool, with limitations "
What do you like best about Instapage?

- Ability to easily create pages on the fly - Range of layout and design options - Easy to use editor - Relatively simple setup process - Ease of deploying pages live

What do you dislike about Instapage?

- Horrible customer service 24hr minimum response time - Livechat support close to useless - one guy didn't even respond to a message just closed the chat and said, "will respond via email, bye" - Mobile design of a page is based off the desktop build, making it very difficult/backwards to develop mobile-first design landing pages - Some image glitches when trying to incorporate transparency in uploaded images - Very limited default font options without custom CSS - Did i say horrible customer service?

What problems is Instapage solving and how is that benefiting you?

Landing page development and deployment without IT support

"Great platform, terrible customer service (in my experience)"
What do you like best about Instapage?

I believe the platform is incredibly versatile and provides a great range of capabilities and templates for landing page development and campaign flow.

What do you dislike about Instapage?

I had a very small issue with the "settings" HTML code interfering with an HTML block i had inserted on my page. The header was the standard google conversion tracking code, and the HTML block was a simple embedded video. I know enough to realize they are contradicting each other somehow, but there is no information on their site which explains how these two code bases interact - so I had to reach out to customer service to resolve the issue. While speaking with one of their representatives, I was informed that unless I upgrade to the Enterprise Plan, they are unwilling to provide what to me seems like an extremely low effort solution to a problem that I assume many users will face in this product. Enterprise plans are *significantly* more expensive, and apparently required for even the simplest troubleshooting of built in features. Very disappointed and am considering other options, as this is a necessary component to our campaign build out.

What problems is Instapage solving and how is that benefiting you?

Fast landing page creation, though limited to what the service team is willing to assist on - an intentional lack of platform resources are forcing users into expensive "enterprise plans"

"I had a bad experience with Instapage"
What do you like best about Instapage?

Initially, while it was 30 USD per month, it was an okayish landing page builder. Easy to make landing pages. I achieved a lot more than Instapage simply by using Weebly platform. I did not gain any additional benefit using instapage.

What do you dislike about Instapage?

Borderline criminal billing practices. They would lure visitors with low fees. Then the visitor would go on and create several landing pages. Once the visitors are sufficiently trapped and it is difficult for them to move out, they would hike the price. Honestly, I have never encountered another saas with such a criminal scheme.

What problems is Instapage solving and how is that benefiting you?

I have abandoned this platform entirely, and I don't wish this even for my enemy. It is not solving anything for me. Even while using this platform, I had much more conversions via Weebly pages than Instapage.

"Terrible (the worst) customer service I've ever experienced; mediocre product"
What do you like best about Instapage?

It's OK for newbies. A moderately simple-to-use for a WYSIWYG webpage editor. If you are looking for the exact feature set Instapage offers, without wanting to exert the small effort to combine any cheaper tools, this could be useful.

What do you dislike about Instapage?

The billing practices are predatory and dishonest, the customer service is rude and inattentive. I do not mean that prices are too expensive. I mean that the renewal practice is designed to take your money quietly, before you remember to cancel billing, and then keep it. If you don't happen to notice that you were billed within 24 hours, their policy states, they will not refund you. (You also cannot cancel easily, of course.) In practice, this means that you will forget you have Instapage for months, randomly get billed for $2,400, and their ANNUAL renewal notification will go to your "Promotions" tab. Then, you will notice after their bizarrely tight 24-hour cancellation period, and their customer service will tell you that you're too late; they're keeping your money. I see that Instapage replied to another reviewer with the same issue. Rather than dealing with this issue, they try to gaslight the reader (you) and convince you that the reviewer is actually a competitor, or is perhaps confused and talking about another product. This is remarkably dishonest. Instapage really does have a predatory policy which is completely out of line with the rest of the B2B SaaS market, you can read it on their website. Here is our story: We are a SMB. Many companies like us have a few cardholders who lend out their number to people who register for tools such as Instapage. Our budget owner was the buyer and we had a marketer as the user. The service quietly renewed for thousands of dollars and it took us a couple months to notice. In the meantime, we did not use our account to make any new pages and the traffic to these pages (which have not run ads to for years) was something like a dozen users per month, probably all bots. In other words, our couple months of inactivity likely cost Instapage something like $10 in hosting fees. When we approached them to cancel our account and ask for a refund, they gave us the run-around. We even offered to pay for whatever the hosting costs were. We were not offered any reasonable refund, not even a pro-rated refund for the months that our account was left unknown and inactive. Now, you might say that their policy is no refunds, but let's look at the facts. This is predatory. Instapage quietly allows their expensive product to renew, knowing that it is providing no value to the customer. They sit there, hoping to profit off of something that they know the customer does not even use. Instapage incurs no cost from a customer's inactive account, but wants to maximize revenue from that. I submit that this is a dishonorable business practice and they should be ashamed of themselves. Any other B2B SaaS company will refund you or at least offer you a pro-rated refund, usually just if you are unsatisfied with the product. Heck, Amazon will even let you return physical goods. I'm not sure which market Instpage thinks they're playing in, or why they think this is a good idea. They are probably struggling to stay afloat, as their product is not sufficiently differentiated to compete with easy (cheaper) landing page builders like Squarespace or Wix or fuller marketing suites like HubSpot. Bottom line: Unless you are prepared to pay for a full extra year of this product, I would recommend finding an alternative. You think you will remember to cancel (and you will probably want to cancel, the product isn't that great), but you will have a day of meetings, or a flight, or you will be on vacation, or you will just not check your email, and boom. A couple thousand wasted. Either way, you're better off with a better product anyway. This one is overpriced and underdelivers.

What problems is Instapage solving and how is that benefiting you?

We initially wanted a landing page, which Instapage allowed us to build. We did not realize any significant benefits from it. We have benefited more from simpler landing page builders which integrate better with CRM's and ad stacks.

"Terrible Customer Service"
What do you like best about Instapage?

They offer landing pages, just like their competitors. Not much else to like here So disappointed. Find a differenet platform.

What do you dislike about Instapage?

I asked them to put our account on hiatus, but they continued to charge the full rate and refused to provide a refund, citing that I did not respond to a subsequent chat message from a separate department to confirm the hiatus status. I even pasted a copy of the original chat, detailing the original communication. Very shady practice. They do not have a telephone number to reach them, so all is done via chat message. I will be switching to Leadpages.com for over 80% in monthly savings.

What problems is Instapage solving and how is that benefiting you?

Landing page service that we can use for digital marketing google ads to test out various keywords for sourcing new business leads. Not much else to write here.

"Crazy expensive"
What do you like best about Instapage?

It’s a simple platform for landing pages I can build out myself

What do you dislike about Instapage?

I was with them for 3+ years. Their prices went from $30 to $80 then jumped to $200... they had an old email (I’ve tried to change multiple times) and refused to refund me the difference in price when they more then doubled their price. Their customer service could’ve careless... not worth $200 a month.

"I'll add to the list - borderline criminal billing practices. Get ready to be ripped off"
What do you like best about Instapage?

Decent functionality and easy to spin off landing pages

What do you dislike about Instapage?

I will echo the sentiment of many other reviews on this platform and others that these guys are borderline criminal - they have the most abusive billing practices i've ever seen from a SaaS platform: 1. You can't cancel you account yourself: You can notify customer service that you'd like to cancel your account, and customer service takes at least 24 hours to respond. This requires several back and forths, and at one point they simply stopped responding to me. I forgot that I hadn't managed to complete the cancellation (again, because you cant cancel without their authorisation, despite having a month to month account), and got charged over $1200 for 6 months of service I did not use once 2. No invoice or charge notifications: these guys will continue billing you and never ever send out an invoice or notification that you have been charged. They hope that you forget about, and can continue to be gouged by their ridiculous billing structure. Despite not having logged in for over 7 months, I was being charged $200US every month, and never being notified that money was being taken out of my account. 3. Possibly the worst customer service alive: They didn't respond to my emails asking for the subscription to be cancelled, and I have an email list of one-sided conversations begging them to end my subscription before I kept getting charged. This didn't matter though, because I was charged anyway. This seems to be really common amongst reviewers here and elsewhere. I could go on, I really could, but suffice to say that their business practices are despicable. I run a SaaS company and if I ever found out my company or employees were acting in the way that Instapage seems to encourage, I'd be ashamed. They should be too.

What problems is Instapage solving and how is that benefiting you?

1. You can't cancel your account (this is criminal behaviour when they hold your credit card, just btw) 2. Customer service doesnt respond to requests to cancel an account 3. No notification or warning of continued billing 4. No notification that your account is still being charged when clearly no activity for extended periods of time 5. No invoices issued after billing (presumably to keep the billing secret).

"It was good up until they made changes..."
What do you like best about Instapage?

Instapage was good at the beginning up until they made changes to their plans.

What do you dislike about Instapage?

Instapage was great up until they wanted me to pay $2,000 a month for their Enterprise plan, they claimed that this cost was for their hosting - that is not true, I was hosting my pages on my own server/hosting planned but they insisted that I pay extra by upgrading to their Enterprise plan, they also wanted me to pay for 2 years in advance (so around $48,000) for a page builder. At that point It was much cheaper to move over my pages to another builder or even hire a webmaster to rebuild my site vs. paying an ongoing $2,000 a month. Since I didnt upgrade to Enterprise they ended up closing my account where I was actively paying them $200 a month for the past 2 years without any problems. Very unethical and their team is just looking for a money squeeze / upsell, and if you dont take their upsell they can close your account.

What problems is Instapage solving and how is that benefiting you?

I cant recommend this product to anyone, their business practices are unethical. They only want to upsell you into higher price plans

"Disappointing Experience"
What do you like best about Instapage?

The flexibility of design and integration with sites.

What do you dislike about Instapage?

Frankly, the mobile experience was extremely ugly and surprisingly unintelligent. It didn't even work as-promised and the team refused to refund the amount (even though the request was raised within 48 hours of purchasing the account).

What problems is Instapage solving and how is that benefiting you?

"BS Integrations"
What do you like best about Instapage?

I want to love Instapage, really. The builder is super cool, easy to use, and the pages I'm able to spin up by saving and duplicating "blocks" across pages are awesome. Not only that, but you can A/B test pretty easily.

What do you dislike about Instapage?

I chose Instapage primarily because it advertised an integration with Marketo at a price point well below their competitors. Fast forward 3 weeks of building and setting up integrations on the back-end with Marketo, I find that Instapage is only able to look at the FIRST 200 LISTS EVER CREATED IN OUR MARKETO INSTANCE. Are you kidding me? That's useless. Instapage, I love you, but your Product Marketing team has NO right to advertise an integration with Marketo. Any semi-established company out there has well over 200 lists created, so this limitation is absolutely game-breaking. I'll change my rating when your marketing team quits lying.

What problems is Instapage solving and how is that benefiting you?

Being able to spin up professional landing builders with zero design support. Hugely powerful for a Marketer.
