Active Campaign has a lot of tools for client engagement and conversion. I love how you can segment and tag clients to improve your marketing approach. I also love that I can add my clients to different list, do split testing as well as automate everything.
It takes a bit of a learning curve to figure out how to use all of the tool's features effectively; however, once you get it figured out, it works very well. It just takes a bit of time to dive into all the features.
It's helping me save time by allowing me to automate my email marketing campaigns as well as helping me with getting a better idea of what message my target audience is most responsive to.
I've been using ActiveCampaign for the past 3 years, and even though I use other platforms for clients, ActiveCampaign is still my favorite. I never had to look up any trainings or tutorials to understand how it works. It's very easy and intuitive to use and the dashboard shows all the information you need.
Adding specific dates to emails in automations seems to be a bit more complicated. Some features look more like programming and could become more intuitive, but for what I'm using it with my clients and online courses, it works perfectly well.
Opt-ins, funnel, newsletters and automations are helping me with lead generation
I am someone who values functionality and efficiency. Killing two birds with one stone is my ideal work ethic. ActiveCampaign (AC) allows you to organize your clientele effectively and efficiently. I appreciate how simple and fast setting up a newsletter is too. One can do so much with AC that it is a business game changer.
I wish the overview of all your campaigns showed the open rate - the big-picture view is helpful for many entrepreneurs as we are analytical thinkers. I hate how I have to go into the weeds to see the open rate.
I just appreciate the all in one concept. I use it for all my needs. It's nice - it's like a more advanced and cleaner kartra to degree, minus certain aspects.
The automations are the most important things when implementing in depth campaigns with lots of upsells and downsells.
The page builder is slow. It has been like this for a long time and hasnt improved.
We use it for our agency for our clients for their email marketing. Easy to implement and set up.
My favorite has to be automations. I managed to completely automate all my sales and onboarding processes by using a proper CRM and automations. Additionally, the flexibility when it comes to the CRM fields, tags, and other things makes ActiveCampaign a very powerful platform.
Even tho it's an amazing product, at times it can be slow. So maybe an infrastructure change could help tackle this.
Automation, Automation, Automation. You can have all your marketing and sales on autopilot and scale upwards from there.
The structure of the interface is straightforward. You want one thing, it is proposed, the functionality works, and it is robust. I find it straightforward, nothing non useful, great.
The interface is sometimes long to load and not that intuitive, but when you think about the complexity of the job we ask ActiveCampaign to perform, I'm fine on compromising a bit on the ease of interaction with the tool and trade this to robustness.
I wanted clear and robust automation for my business, with clear data on performance of campaigns, and I get it. All well sorted, ell delivered and efficient. I've been able, since uploading to AC, to generate +30% appointments to sell online courses.
Immediato, veloce e accattivante. Questi sono gli aggettivi per descirviere ActiveCampaign.
Trovo il profotto funzionale, quindi non ho nulla da dire su questo punto.
Riesco a realizzare delle mail molto velocemente e a spedirle a liste di persone determinate
Super easy to set up and design an email.
The subscription fee is a bit high for a small company like mine.
Deliverability is super easy and handy by Active Campaigns and the most powerful thing is to get the open results to see who saw and clicked my email campaigns.
What I loved the most about Active Campaing can be summed up in the following points: User-Friendliness: I was pleasantly surprised by how incredibly easy it is to navigate and utilize this platform. The intuitive interface and well-designed features make the entire experience a breeze. Abundance of Tutorials: The availability of numerous tutorials was a game-changer for me. Whether I needed guidance on creating effective campaigns or mastering advanced features, I found a wealth of resources that helped me make the most of the service. Beautiful and Intuitive Design: The service boasts a visually appealing and user-friendly design. The layout and overall aesthetic enhance the experience, making it enjoyable to work with. It's a breath of fresh air compared to other platforms I've tried. Rich Set of Useful Tools: One of the standout aspects of this service is the wide range of tools it offers. I discovered a plethora of valuable features that were not available in other services. From advanced segmentation to automation workflows, these tools provided me with the flexibility and functionality I needed to achieve my marketing goals. Overall, the combination of user-friendliness, extensive tutorials, appealing design, and a robust set of tools truly sets this email marketing service apart from the competition
However, there were a couple of drawbacks that I encountered while using this email marketing service: Customer Support Chat Demand: it can be quite overwhelmed, especially during peak hours. As someone located in Europe, I noticed that the wait times tended to be longer, particularly during nighttime when the chat support queue is at its busiest. It would be beneficial if they could allocate more resources to handle the increased demand. Individual Email Open Rates: One feature that was missing and I found to be quite limiting was the inability to view the individual email open rates for each contact. This functionality would have allowed me to segment my audience more effectively and tailor my emails to specific customers. Instead, they have addressed this by implementing an automation system and tagging contacts based on their interactions within certain time frames, such as those who have opened an email within the last 7 days. Despite these minor drawbacks, the overall experience with this email marketing service remains positive. The benefits of its user-friendly interface, comprehensive tutorials, appealing design, and a wide range of useful tools outweigh these limitations.
ActiveCampaign has made my life easier, saved me time, and made my email marketing more effective than ever. It's a must-have tool for any marketer looking to crush it in the inbox. Actually is a total game-changer, solving multiple headaches and bringing awesome benefits to my email marketing game. First off, their platform is ridiculously easy to use, with a slick interface that makes crafting killer campaigns a breeze. And their tutorials are a godsend! They've got tutorials for days, teaching me everything from segmentation tricks to automation wizardry. It's like having a marketing guru right at my fingertips ;D But what really blew my mind is their automation and tagging magic. I can set up custom automations that track customer interactions and slap on tags like a boss. No more guessing games! I know exactly who's been opening my emails and when. Sure, I can't see individual open rates for every single contact, but their automation system and tagging feature make up for it big time. I can still slice and dice my audience, sending tailored content to the right peeps at the right time. Oh, and let's not forget about their powerful toolkit. ActiveCampaign is like a Swiss Army knife for marketers. It's got all the bells and whistles, giving me valuable insights and superpowers to level up my campaigns.
I like its integrations with other software and how easy it is to use.
I wish it could be slightly more intuitive.
Having emails automatically send over time saves my team a ton of time.
the automations are very helpful. in a time where we are trying to limit human involvement in tasks that take up most of our time, AC does the job of an extra person in our company!
Not necessarily a dislike, but im still needing to learn more about direct API integrations. Im still a bit lost on that, but i think it will come soon
segmenting our clients, and potential clients and sorting them by which messaging needs to go to which user
For the price it has all marketing tools you could wish for in 1 easy to understand pacage.
In Hubspot i liked how you could also see your adwords and FB ad campaigns and track conversions- here for now i did not find it yet. What i really dislike is that most other digital sales, marketing tools support Klaviyo and less likely Hubspot and even less Active campaign. This i do not understand as it is clearly the best of the 3.
Its much easier to personalise and automate emails so you get best effect in return.
One of the best email automation tools on the market. Very wide selection of email templates, landing pages, forms, popups. Hundreds of different segmentation options. And the email automation sequances and logics for variety of customer journeys you can create is just mind blowing. Don't get intimidated - it's super easy to use and customer services is always there to help.
A bit pricy compared with other similar tools, but you get what you pay for. So the capabilities of ActiveCampaing outweights the price. At advanced level of marketing automation you will need help from support and programmer, which could be improved by the creators. And would like to see AI options for copywriting in the future.
Helping to send thousands of emails at once, integrate email marketing with ecommerce stores, increace business revenue, build relationships with costumers and provide value for them, also increase customer lifetime value.
The best feature in my opinion is their automation. I use it extensively with zapier and tags to track behaviors on my websites, customer journey flows, behavioral responses from warm leads, etc.
Lack of mobile app experience. We use their deals CRM app but I would love to see more reports and analytics from my progress via iOS apps.
Systematized communication based on customer behavior via tags. Taking human action out of the equation by using their machine learning for predictive sending, etc.
It's pretty easy and a Great way to track contacts, tag and segment them and keep track of analytics like open rates and CTRs.
That there isn't full CRM capability at the Lite level of use.
Tracking how and when contacts interact with us and what they are interested in.
The flexibility and possibility of integration with most ecommerce software and many other cms
Full integration with many cms, unfortunately to date only fully integrated with shopify
Automate many actions that a person normally has to do, and with this tool you can do everything automatically even abse to what the user does on the website
Emails and automations are extremely easy to use. I like that it shows my all the data on the application
Occasionally i'll send an email where the text is whit when I send a test email, but it'll change the text color to something else.
Organizing leads, and moving deals along in a buying ascension system
I was told Active Campaign may be too hard to use and too big for a startup but "they" were proven wrong. It's easy to use, the support is helpful and I love using it.
A bit expensive for starting out, but I need the features, and we're growing fast.
Segmenting leads
The ability to create very custom experiences for contacts that, if properly set up, allows us to develop timely and versatile campaigns which end up refining our audience and giving us a better look at who it's worth going after.
I haven’t found anything specific in the time I’ve used it so far, that I could label as dislike. There are UI elements and functionality which could be improved for more efficient use of my time but it’s pretty much nitpicking.
It’s solving the problem of setting up custom newsletter and lead connection campaigns and automations layered for different experiences and interests that we can set up with triggers, tags, lists, etc (segmentation).
I've been using ActiveCampaign to manage my advertising through facebook, its easy to navigate and has been the backbone for my appointments and emails. The user interface online is simple and really easy to navigate.
Pricey - it sure did add up, using ActiveCampaign and a few other tools, plus ad spend, it's not the cheapest thing to be doing. I got good results out of the ads, but no the greatest. If the ads did better, i'd be more satisfied - not a direct reflection of ActiveCampaign though.
Bulk client data retrieval and easy production of a bulk emailing list of all clients.
