I LIKE THE SPECIALIZED EMAILS I GET , THAT SAY Are you still looking for a job ?and we think this is a good fit for you . I also like the setup it has , on the app and site .
NOT MUCH TO DISLIKE , THERE SHOULD BE MORE SPECIFIC JOBS LISTED FOR THE SEARCH .
I DID GET A JOB WITH Ziprecruiter back a while ago ! a good on to !
I like being able to access my resume and copy it/download it. I like how easy it is to apply for jobs and that you can apply to multiple at once. I like that you can swipe left on jobs to hide them. I like that you can easily apply on a company's website. The search function is good. I've had a few recruiters reach out to me and mention that they saw me on here so that makes me feel like my resume is actually being sent to people or showing up in searches versus like on Indeed where I feel like I'm just sitting out there and I don't get contacted by people from there nearly as much.
For me, it would be nice to save search preferences. Because I don't know if it's because my resume sucks or that I'm super entry level but I don't like how many jobs are for sales positions. I try to swipe right or dismiss as many as I can but I feel like they are VERY common on here versus on Indeed. I guess it makes sense on your guys' end because I'm sure sales companies are always desperate for people so it's not really your guys' fault. It could also be the area that I'm in that there's so many shady pyramid scheme-like "marketing" or "advertising" agencies.I don't think my issue is really ZipRecruiter's fault but there are so many crappy advertising agencies with misleading headlines & descriptions. I feel like they try to game the algorithm by adding words that someone like me would search for. Like for example, the job title will be "Marketing Admin Assistant" and the description will say things like, "people who have experience with HR, Human Resources, Administrative Assistance, Office Environment, Management," etc. just to show up in an HR job search, BUT it will basically be door-to-door sales. Like,
I'm trying to get a full time, direct hire job that pays at least $18 an hour. Preferably with minimal customer-service and NO sales or commission. My goal is Human Resources or other administrative operations support, and I'm willing to do something in accounting even though that's not my career goal, but it's what I have experience in so I can see starting out in that type of role. Also I'm aware that it's really hard to get a decent HR/Admin job with little experience & only an AAS so like I'm not too surprised that I haven't landed a job yet. I'm not desperate enough to take just ANY old job, but like if I was then I know I would be able to get one in a split-second on here, which is a good contingency for me in case I can't find a job by next month because otherwise I'm going to be broke by then. ZipRecruiter has helped me get more comfortable talking to recruiters and be more assertive with my worth. I know that sounds weird but like with Indeed I hardly ever get in contact with recruiters/jobs DIRECTLY from there, so I didn't have much experience with negotiating or talking to hiring managers and eloquently give answers to interview/screening questions. I would be really nervous and I think it would show in my voice and answers that I would come across as desperate and awkward. So when I started using ZipRecruiter it was like blowing my mind that I was getting attention from jobs/recruiters, even if they were undesirable ones. So like just yesterday I had an interview with a marketing agency that I applied to on here but I just did the interview for practice that I can use for a job interview at a company/position that I'm actually interested in. And also like it's so easy to apply to the jobs that sometimes I accidentally apply for sales jobs and then I'm like "oops. oh well" because they are really aggressive anyways with their hiring tactic because I guess they're desperate but either it has increased my overall confidence. I don't know if that's a good thing for them or you guys but it has helped me.
The most thing I like here the easy way to apply for jobs with just one click
actually, till now there is nothing need to be disliked
when I called a lifesaver I mean what I say when I lost my job I get hired right away
Being able to tell if my resume is getting a lot of hits and if it is an effective resume
There is nothing wrong with Zip, Keep it going don't give up or listen to the NAN sayers.
Understanding which style of resume is working and drawing attention and how many people like my resume and what industry
The thing I like best about Zip recruiter is that if builds confidence in the feeling of the likelihood of your future getting brighter. It feels like the opportunities out there are a little more with in reach when you are working with Zip recruiter.
The thing I dislike about Zip recruiter is that it makes me feel silly for not trying this a long time ago.
The problem that I am solving with ZipRecruiter is that my information is getting much more exposure than it would with most job search options. The benefit that I have realized is that the website is so easy to use.
One of the most helpful features of ZipRecruiter is the little green bar that shows a compatibility level between your profile and job details. Of course, the regular emails with reminders about new jobs and/or similar jobs to the previously applied are very nice.
The only thing I haven't been able to see is an option to select only a specific kind of job, for example, remote jobs only or home-based.
Being able to find those many opportunities on one website is a plus. Now don't have to navigate from site to site to find jobs to apply for.
I love the flexibility in job searching. It is so much easier to find jobs on there.
I dislike the layout on left hand side it is hard to filter.
I was able to land interviews which was a great thing.
I love how fast and simple it is to apply for jobs, and that each job is usually relevant to my needs. The 1-Click Apply is really useful and allows me to apply for multiple jobs at once. I also really like how I can bulk apply to multiple jobs. It saves so much time, really an amazing feature.
Sometimes the jobs that I bulk apply to aren't always relevant to my interests or career path. In sales, you have to watch out for a lot of M2M and marketing schemes- so those need filtered out more closely.
The problems I can solve with Ziprecruiter are defining more of my career path and therefore the benefits have matched me with better quality employers and people I literally have neck and neck in my head when considering a job.
I can rapidly apply to plenty of jobs in a short amount of time.
Ziprecruiter seems to be only good for applying to jobs and not actually getting a call from employers.
ZipRecruiter has allowed me to apply to jobs in my minimal free time.
They send you so many openings that you will find something that your profile is a 100% match.
Too many jobs that are not in your league.
Well I am a passive job seeker for a specific market and very specific role. I have gotten some wonderful leads. Now it is up to me to have the right resume and get myself lined up for interviews.
ZipRecruiter never runs out of jobs that are out there that relate to your skillset. It's a great resource
Not much to dislike from a job-hunter point of view
looking for the right job
I love that I just had to upload my resume and it all was loaded from it for directly to my profile. other than that I had a lot of different places to apply for and have some feedback about how the process id going.
not much about the whole app can be helpful sometimes I get alerted of jobs that have little to nothing about my career.
None so far, I just started to use the app recently but I look forward to finding something that goes perfectly for me and the places where I want to work and move.
I like the variety of positions advertised.
The Sales Jobs that pay with commission only.
I have been connected with employers who are looking to hire new employee's.
I love that I can put in multiple search parameters and find the jobs posted on many different job boards in one place.
I dislike how pushy the emails and notifications are. Too much help can be annoying.
I am able to spend less of my day hunting for jobs suited for me, and more time enjoying the unexpected time I'll have off.
The fact you can upload one's resume and have all your information there rather than going back and forth to fill out the application information is great.
Nothing I think this is a great site, and that may people should definitely be using this for job searches and career changes
The Difficulty of finding jobs is the main problem ZipRecruiter fixed but the benefit is that this is just an amazing tool for jobs for both employees and recruiters.
I love the feedback more than any other feature. I know if my application has been reviewed and the likelihood of being considered seriously. It’s helpful to see when a position has been closed and the easy apply is perfect for a busy individual.
The salary request feature is too easy to accidentally mark and may leave an employer uninterested in a candidate. I rarely have received a response after the request feature was initiated.
I don’t have much time to spend hours searching for relevant positions which has created a lag in my desired advancement. I had previously been so accustomed to the “old” way of online job searches that it took some serious prompting to initiate the use of this service.
The 1 click appy I love!!! Because it takes qll the stress and aggravation out of applying for jobs
There is nothing that I can say that I really dislike...
Time management is the key to filling out applications
Responsive to customers when in need for help.
Nothing That i can think of at this time
Less leg work
Simple, Thorough, Professional, Efficient. David Gonzalez was excellent in his help in navigation and choosing the best plan!
Maybe an extended trial. Service has been great otherwise
Finding the best person and best fit for my Team
I really like getting notified when I qualify for positions I am interested in! I love that
Nothing I really don’t like. I really enjoy the site and the connections I have already made.
No problems
