I like the user-friendly interface. BambooHR has everything clearly laid out, at the click of a button. I love that everything I need is all in one place, and is very easy to find! It has been especially helpful in our hiring process. All those involved in hiring can see what step we are at, what has happened and what needs to happen next. Also, if there is a feature we are looking for and is not available in BambooHR, the customer service team is super responsive and open to adding new features.
I honestly cannot think of something I dislike about BambooHR! There are features I might like to see added, but I know that the BambooHR team is constantly making improvements. We are so much better off now that we use BambooHR!
BambooHR has solved many of our administrative problems, from something as simple as tracking vacation time, to the greater impact processes like tracking applicants.

There are some gaps in re-onboarding employees who previously worked at my company, but other than that I have no complaints!
We are mainly using it as an employee database. All employee records are stored here. It's great for keeping track of skill sets and experience. I use the reporting features constantly.

I find the setting tab a confusing home for some of the features like training and policies. It's not intuitive to find these features under settings.

BambooHR is very easy to configure and they have an excellent onboarding process for new users. Makes it simple and quick. Excellent supporting video content and support when needed and the opportunity to provide feedback and suggestions on configuration. Excellent price point as well.
Functionality is inconsistent across the platform. In some areas you can choose deadline dates or ranges and in others the choice is fixed to a static 1 or 2 month before etc. It feels like UAT was not always done with a SME as anyone in HR could advise this functionality would be a challenge.
Allowed us to get rid of excel, have all employee data in 1 spot and significant lift using the ATS. Seamless and easy job posting to hire. Performance Management also allows us better sharing and functionality than we had before.
I like that it is very straightforward, and they always have ongoing updates! I appreciate the chat support module. They are always nice when I get stuck with a question.
I wish Bamboo had more integrations with other apps or websites to automate certain processes. I also think that their ATS portion could be improved in the future.
The onboarding is great! We used to do it manually, and the payroll and the employee info being in one system avoids causing mistakes when running payroll. I no longer worry weekly.
How quick you can complete the tax declaration & upload supporting documents
It should have some integrations such as with UIDAI for ID verifications & bank account verification to avoid any mistakes before hand.
Capturing & sharing information with organisation, being able to edit/update any information such as address, bank details etc without any hassle & additional approvals.
BambooHR has allowed us to streamline our HR information and process by having everything in one place and digital! The app/website is very easy to use for administrators and team members alike! Using and tracking PTO days has never been easier and more accurate. Team members now have an easy place to look to see their benefits, how many PTO days they have etc.
There really isn't anything that I can say I dislike. Everything has been working great, it has streamlined our HR processes and made things much easier for our team members, it's a win win!
It is solving an organization problem along with bringing us into the 21st century with digital HR tracking and implementing all in one place. The benefit is the streamlined process along with the accuracy of the information being shared and just having so much information at the tip of your fingers vs having to dig through tons of files.

The time-tracking and payroll functions do not meet the local legal requirements for a seamless integration to have a full- scope product. Maybe in the future - would be great!
The recruiting tool is great and really helpful, it helps to quickly advance in the recruitment process and that is great for the recruiting service and the candidates!
The engagement of all staff by surveying how the company is doing. I also appreciate the self-assessments and team assessments.
The learning curve was a bit challenging but with their support team made it easier because of all the support offered.

BambooHR solved for us application tracking, particularly how long someone stays in the queue. It also gave us more effective and efficient performance management.
The project time tracking and all the reports allow us to see each department's growth and the opportunities available to help retain employees.
Some of the permissions of adding to other users is not quite what I am needing. Example: I have a book keeper that I need to have access to a few reports that I use, however I cannot give them the exact report I use.

One central place that all roles in our organisation can access their staff details and act as they need to. We were not able to give restricted access to our Business manager's that we could use a one source of truth for staff information. Really helpful when Managers need to do salary reviews.
I love the ease of use, the fact that everything is in one place, it has an open-source API that integrates with other software, it's very affordable, and they provide excellent customer service.
There are some limitations on the configuration. However, they have a way for you to make recommendations to improve the software, and judging by the upgrades, they truly listen to the feedback from their customers.
We had no HRIS when I started my job. I checked out several vendors and Bamboo was the cleanest, most affordable option. I can now report on employee data and gain insight to things like turnover, employee satisfaction, anniversaries, etc. quickly and easily. The applicant tracking system is also great. They have an integration with major recruiting sites like Indeed so when an applicant applies to indeed, it filters straight to our platform and all candidates are in a single location. It makes tracking our candidates, communicating, and onboarding them a breeze!
BambooHR is like a "home base" for all things HR, Benefits, and Payroll. We utilize every Add-On that BambooHR offers and are learning how it can be better used daily. It's not overstating to say that BambooHR is my favorite HRIS I've ever used.
If you assign a Signature Document to someone and it happens to be the wrong person, there is no way to reassign the document without canceling and starting over.
Prior to very recently, we were using an outside portal for benefits administration which involved many different logins. Now that benefits administration is available within BambooHR, everything is in one place. I am also looking forward to ACA filing and establishing Carrier connections within the platform.
