Ease of use/ extent of configuration / ability to remeber connections and passwords.
None as of now..It is extremely likable.
Handling multiple connections is a piece of cake here.
The sleek design of the software and ability to save client connections across devices.
Not sure if its just me but every time it gets an update it removes it from being pinned to my taskbar. Maybe there could be a serial feature like putty has so you don't have to go back and fourth between them.
I use it daily in my profession to connect to over 350 devices myself but others in my department don't use it but I believe they should as the terminus for team would allow us all to have access to the same clients if a new one is added.
Praticidade, interface intuitiva , tudo muito pratico
no historico quando eu coloco reconectar ele gera um outro historico de uso
observar diversos equipamentos em uma tela somente
Modern UI Easy to use SFTP + Terminal access to cloud instances
SFTP tends to disconnect rather frequently
Helps me access my cloud instances on the go on multiple devices
I can access all my machines in one platform. I can also share the terminal/devices themselves with others, so they can collaborate at the same time as me. The SFTP file sharing is also super useful.
Only SFTP is supported (makes sense, since this is an SSH client), but I would like to see regular FTP support as well, so I can use Termius for all my file sharing and SSH needs.
I needed to combine all my SSH machines into one platform, so I don't have to keep storing keys. Also, I wanted a way to syncronize all my SSH devices across all my devices (Computer, iPad, Phone, etc.)
The software is among the best applications you can use for what it offers. Love the simplicity and design, and it's also quite stable.
The single issue I have is how it's billed (as a service essentially). I don't understand that. There are no options to just pay for the software a single time, or I would have supported the project a long time ago with a paid license.
Termius provides me with an easy-to-use SSH terminal to manage website functions for the servers I administrate. It's this or what, Putty? You win by default, in a sense.
Easy access to remote machines with saved credentials both with keys and passwords.
I cannot customize themes and there is no nice dark theme included.
Easy access to remote machines as well as local terminal in one app.
My favorite feature by far is the ability to save SSH passwords, allowing for one-click logins, much like an FTP client.
There are some interface issues that bug me, particularly the way the scroll bar is set up, which make it more difficult than it should be to navigate up and down the pane.
Since accessing the server via SSH is something we do multiple times daily, and since those logins routine time out, Terminus is ultimately saving us time and precious keystrokes by turning SSH logins into a one-click, one-app process. These things matter in this line of work.
Being able to open SSH sessions at the click of a button is great! I love that it stores my password and syncs it across all my servers and on all my devices. Also having SFTP built like in is great for when you just want to move a file and don't want to mess around with the command line tool for it.
I wish it wasn't so expensive and I'm not a huge fan of the built in color schemes. I'm a student, so I can get it free through GitHub Campus, but I probably wouldn't have used it otherwise. The purple menu theme makes my eyes bleed, I really wish they just had a simple black dark theme. Also, for terminals, I don't get why I have to pick from a predefined set of themes, and can't design my own. This has been a standard feature in most terminals for a while, and I'm suprised they haven't implemented it here yet.
It just makes signing into remote servers so much faster
o terminal é bastante limpo e intuitivo.
o menu lateral esquerdo nao acho comodo de usar e demorado para encontrar o que preciso.
acesso amigavel aos terminais que uso.
I like how you can share SSH authentication information between devices. I also like the built-in SFTP client. The sharing feature is also quite helpful when you need outside support.
I don't like how there isn't a normal FTP client. There is only SFTP. Also, a web client would be very nice, even if it is only for paid customers. This would allow me to access my servers from anywhere.
We use Termius to connect to all our servers in an easy-to-manage platform. This has made collaboration and troubleshooting much easier, as we can use the "share" feature, and don't have to worry about saving keys.
I like the way you can group your sites/nodes; that's very convenient
What I miss the most is the ability to have parallel Termius processes running simultaneously, and one more thing is to be able to split the view.
to be able to reach all nodes from one central app
It can save the credentials, management of the hosts and groups
Search is not supported just like ssh terminal
ssh and analyzing the logs
Love the colors and layout, its responsiveness, and its cross-platform compatibility. Big fan of dark mode on iOS. Has all the features I expect from in an SSH client Overall, Termius is a super elegant tool that meets all my needs. It's also a great way to manage SSH keys.
A few of the navigation features could be simplified. The carrot menu at the top would be labeled better as a settings icon in my opinion. After long stretches of not using the program I sometimes forget how to access that menu, which contains your keychain and profile options.
Allows me to manage our VPS-hosted Wordpress site at a root level as well control my server back home. It's also become my primary SSH key manager.
the modern nice UI, no limit to the number of connections, the possibility to sync the hosts and share them with collegues
not enough split screen possibilities, I would like to be able to run a command on multiple shells at a time, I would like a button to easily collapse the left panel, I would like to be able to assign colors to the tabs based on the group or label
simple to use and nice ssh client
Termius gives you cross platform support - you can have the application installed on any of your devices be it Mac, iOS, Android, Windows or Linux. It works anywhere and is free .Once you have the account with termius and save your profile and hosts under it, you can access them on all your devices. It integrates with tools like GitBash, PowerShell, Command Line, etc . On top of it, provides a custom rich theme preferences panel which allows me to increase and change the font sizes, change the feel and colour the app according to your will. It allows me to customise my shortcuts for new tab , close tab as well. Being a left-hander this helps a lot, as most of the applications have shortcuts more easy to use for right-handers. Termius just serves the purpose for me in this case. It allows me to group my similar hosts under one group, which makes the life much easier i don't need to remember the set of IPs for an environment, I have just saved them under the name of testing environment once and use them .
The amount of features packed with free version of Termius are very less and basic , it misses down the advanced features coming with paid one like - Autocompletion, SFTP, agent forwarding, etc. The basic version could have been bootstrapped more and could have included some of these features in addition to SSH, Telnet and Port Forwarding.
I use Termius to connect to my testing environments for debugging purposes. It has helps me in grouping by hosts together and allows me to have a common setting for the group and specific setting for a host in the group. I don't need to remember the IP Addresses anymore. I connect with them in a click. It has improved the readability because of custom font sizes and colour themes. And the best part is it allows me to configure the setting for how long i want to keep the SSH session alive, so even if i forget to use the session my connection is not lost.
