This tool allows me to easily communicate with and manage my worldwide team of workers.
Redbooth emails sometimes have glitches, and in particular sometimes I add people as watchers to tasks - and they disappear as watchers, without anyone having removed them. It is frustrating.
We are solving the problem of how to easily keep everyone working on a single task updated. We are a company of exclusively remote workers so having a tool like this is crucial to the functioning of the company.
It's easy to have several projects and tasks. Also, this tool is really useful to manage production schedule and exchange versions and update of a document among team members in different regions. I also love the fact that I can copy tasks in my to-do lists.
We don't have a lot of option to customize the account once it's created. A colleague did not create a designed username and can't change it now; it can gets confusing.
This tool is great to manage content for multilingual-content Website. We can easily know who's working on what, follow the status of the content each of us is working on, etc.
Redbooth is very easy to adopt, and easy to use even for team members that may be resistant to change (and prefer emailing). I like the ease of creating project templates and re-using the template. I also like being able to easily see all tasks that are done and due on a team.
Our plan runs out of room for attaching files, so we need to use another file sharing service. I imagine you can add more room, but it probably is pricy.
Our team emails less and it's easier for managers to have a holistic view into their team's workload.
It's so easy to use and the interface is actually EASY. Our entire team loves it. Clients hate this much less than other PM solutions we have asked them to use 😝
Minor UX issues but no major complaints!
Client collaboration and internal PM
The site is very easy to navigate and organize tasks; it allows you to email in new tasks and appears in the list. The reports are even better, allowing you to track time and users accurately.
They used to have a customizable email address for a helpdesk-style setup. It was allowing customers/staff members to email in tickets that would get added to the list. Sadly this feature no longer exists.
I use Redbooth to manage my staff's workload, track their hours and time spent on projects. Receiving email notifications helps a lot also when staff are working remotely.
I like the amount of features that can be used for project management.
We tried to use it as a IT Help Desk ticketing system and it isn't a smooth transition
Ticketing and project management. Benefits has helped us track better our projects and time management
I like the way to present the tasks and subtasks, it's great that they can upload their own templates.
Sometimes I can not access correctly or the connection is not good. Maybe it would improve that.
I have a better control of the tasks and I do not leave anything to do. Communication with my colleagues is much better with Redbooth.
Nice interface, personal tasks highlighted, good tool for remote project management
It's better if project tasks are shown on dashboard.
Teams who work remotely are more involved, better reporting and integration with slack is helping a lot
Easy to create tasks, simple to add projects, good for internal communications regarding projects.
I'm not disliking anything on Redbooth, works well for us.
Organizing tasks, easy for everyone to follow which tasks to complete on what day.
The way the program is organized makes it very easy to use.
It can be hard to navigate and there a some times where tasks will not update once I save them.
This has helped our department organize. We use this as a task manager and it allows our director to track our progress on projects
Everything is on the desktop, notifications, conversations, tasks. Acts like a social media site so it is easy to learn. Timeline is easy to see and all the people on your team are visible
Have to download documents before opening. Calendar is not able to sync with other calendars. Can not add to calendar without making a task. Does not show appointments.
Timelines and completed tasks for a project can see what is on time and I like the sidebar of instant contact for questions
It has excellent options for project managers to stay on top of their teams and monitor progress with kanban and others.
I'd prefer more integrations for users to keep track in different use cases.
Organizing tasks and accountability for both structured and unstructured projects.
I like the ease of viewing my dashboard of tasks and calendar integration. Overall it's easy to use compared to other project management software I've tried. It also seems to be more affordable than the "leading" one.
While it's more affordable than the "leading" one, I also find it lacks few features. Namely an ability to move or not move following milestones once one date in a project is moved. I also find the gmail calendar integration to be buggy. It doesn't seem like tasks move on the calendar when they are chance in the app. I think for orgs who are trying to push all communication out of email and into red booth an out of the office autoreply might be nice.
I think people are becoming less silo'd. I als think projects are coming in on time more often or if timelines change we all hear about it more. There's more transparency as well so we can avoid having to be the "bad guy." It's all there.
The platform is very user friendly and streamlined. Simplistic and efficient at first but has additional tools (reporting, virtual meetings).
It is web based and cannot be part of a person's desktop.
The problem it solves is team/project management. It allows everyone to keep each other accountable and know who is working on what tasks. Increases efficiency and reduces overlap on projects.
Notification system works really well. That is where I start my day. Love the fact that I can close the notifications that I have worked through or leave them available if I have not finished responding or taking action against them.
Not a great way presently in my workflow to assign a time estimate and see whether or not my day is under or over-booked in regards to task load.
We use RebBooth for small and larger projects. The benefit of having the entire team in one tool is massive when we are all using it the same way. We can pass and communicate well on large and small tasks.
Very easy to use, setup very easy. Users can understand it in less than an hour. Task lists and tags csn be set up per project, so it's very flexible. Time tracking easy to use but very detailed to analyse.
For development and complex projects it can be somehow limited. Integrations with third party apps somehow limited. Seems that development and improvement of the app is quite limited or slow.
Agency projects like websites or marketing campaigns can be set-up and controlled easily with Redbooth. Working time and billable hours can be also managed, although it's not perfect.
it's ability to connect all different members of a team and to track progress on projects
i found it very tricky to navigate and perhaps this was due to the way we organized things but it was still tough to know where things were
project management saving information from former employees
When I used Redbooth, I appreciated the ability to create templates for tasks and easily assign them, mark as complete, and close projects.
Redbooth delivered a significant amount of notifications to your inbox, which instead of alerting you to an important task, just quickly became background noise in your inbox that you ignored just to the sheer volume.
I primarily used Redbooth to project manage on a blog or to collaborate between different teams in the marketing department.
Redbooth is a glorified To Do List that does not have the visual functionality that I find useful with other programs similar to it.
There is a lack of visual understanding of your task list.
Trying to figure out processes that work for our team.
