Easiness of use, email digests, dashboards
The usage of dashboards are confusing, it lacks lots of the features amplitude already have
Data integrity for the same product company wise
Visibility into my customers and behavioral data around products and features that may need to be enhanced or retired etc
Experienced bugs while using segmentation and export features pretty regularly.
Usage analysis for our platform - measuring value and adoption for customers
The flexibility that Mixpanel's API provides is amazing! Can't get that anywhere else.
The UI is extremely confusing! They seem to use their own lingo that I can't grasp and can't figure out how to create my own dashboards or reports that I want.
Using it to track product usage.
Clear dashboard once set up. Set up itself requires programmatic configuration.
More than meets the eye to set up. They make it seem like you won't need a developer at all.
Analalytic for ux. Actionable analytics.
There's the potential to collect a lot of useful data.
I've had some issues with the retention of my data across their dashboard UI redesigns.
The retention and segmentation features have been very useful.
As a smaller site/app their tool is amazing, however when working for large organizations their costs don't scale. I've recommended them many times and will continue to do so. Very well suited for companies that don'e have an onsite full time analytics / BI person. Would use them as a stop gap until a full long term solution can be built due to their costs at large volume.

They enable quick and easy analytics for product managers. If you have a full time analytics staff then their are better options but if you want something quick and fast and cheap in the short run then these guys are the way to go.
Great for means of seeing guest feedback and reviews.
Too much scientific data, not enough applicability
Guest Retention services.
Simple easy interface that is quick to learn and good for a small team just launching a product.
Predatory pricing model if you start to grow they treat you like a prisoner. We were charged a $25,000 overage for a single month but offer a way to avoid it by signing up to a nearly $100k annual contract.
When you are small it is a quick and easy to use integration for mobile audience BI. It helped with daily analysis of our growing app audience, churn, troubleshooting, trend analysis.
Average at best, sort of our dated. I like the funnel analysis
The UI is straight out of y2k but hopefully the data is good
None so far but hopes are high
I like that Mixpanel is a hosted solution.
The price for the benefit. Vendor lock-in I felt before Segment came around. The slow ingestion rate at times of bursty loads and slow-loading or unresponsive reporting. The Flutter package was not as easy to use as Segment. Amplitude offers far more streamlined and actionable reporting capabilities. More employees know how to use Google Analytics. Some data quality issues at times.
They are doing event tracking that I don't want to implement myself. It helps me to know what users interact with on our site, but doesn't benefit me much.
I can't say that I like something in the tool, its as good as not having it. Rather, its counter productive to have it, you'll lose dollars if you have this tool.
There is not phone support at all, and only email support available. Imagine you have a critical business issues related to the tool that need immediate attention, you will have to wait for 24-48 hours before you get a response. Now instead of this platform being supportive to help you succeed in marketing, rather its counter productive. Its costing in losing money on potential buyers that we can't touch because of no support from the platform itself. In my opinion, never opt mixpanel
Continue marketing on app where we can marketing any type of customer base we have. But platform doesn't have ability to handle complex segment criteria. You can only target users based on some generic usage base filters, it can't not handle complex filters at all in segmentation.
