"LearnDash is our favorite LMS"
What do you like best about Learndash?

We love the flexibility of LearnDash. It's easy to set up and works 'out of the box' while giving us the flexibility to customize it with all the available integrations. We not only use it for our client's eLearning projects and regularly recommended it on the podcast (http://onlinecoursecoach.com).

What do you dislike about Learndash?

I haven't found anything I dislike yet. It has worked for our needs as well as our client's needs.

What problems is Learndash solving and how is that benefiting you?

We help our clients build learning management systems, eLearning and video based training systems.

"We use LearnDash for a Range of Projects! "
What do you like best about Learndash?

One of our favorite things about LearnDash is how powerful it is. It is also very flexible. We have used for a range of many different types of projects - from small free courses to large master courses.

What do you dislike about Learndash?

LearnDash does currently require you to integrate with something like BadgeOS for doing badges and further gamification. It is not hard to set this up, but would be nice to have this feature built in by default. They're reporting is solid but we are always looking for deeper details on student performance.

What problems is Learndash solving and how is that benefiting you?

Mostly being able to provide online education is the goal. The benefit of LearnDash is it gives us great functionality and a decent look for Students right out of the box.

"Super LMS for Wordpress with Great Support"
What do you like best about Learndash?

If you look at all of my reviews, I place a high value on ease of use. LearnDash is a WordPress plugin that enables you to run a full Learning Management System with all the necessary bells and whistles. What is doesn't have is provided by third party plugins that extend the capabilities of LearnDash. From course creation to user experience LearnDash has it covered. The support is great and the creator Justin Ferriman is awesome. I am sure they have thousands of users but he makes you feel like you can always contact him one on one.

What do you dislike about Learndash?

Although I love the number of plugins I can use with LearnDash, you can go overboard. The number of options can be overwhelming, but I guess that's a great problem to have.

What problems is Learndash solving and how is that benefiting you?

I had a choice, go with a cloud based LMS and pay upwards to 8 bucks per user or attempt to do it myself. LearnDash solves this problem by providing a comprehensive WP plugin that can meet most if not all of your LMS needs.

"LearnDash is a solid course creation solution for the Wordpress ecosystem"
What do you like best about Learndash?

LearnDash connects well into the WordPress ecosystem. It is easy to get it to work with other WordPress plugins and themes. It has a ton of additional plugins created by the LearnDash creator as well as other third parties, making it quite extensible. It is rather easy to create and manage lessons and courses. It integrates nicely with WooCommerce plugin,

What do you dislike about Learndash?

Understanding how users are progressing in a course as a group and not as an individual are somewhat limited. I use the ProPanel add-on, and that doesn't solve things either. Enrolling multiple students in a course is a challenge, and I have yet to find a plugin that does that well with LearnDash. The focused learning experience along with the additional materials tab make it really nice as a learning experience. I've also incorporated into it

What problems is Learndash solving and how is that benefiting you?

LearnDash enables me to create and sell online courses and workshops to a large audience of students looking to learn WebRTC. By offering both free and paid courses, I can build an excellent sales funnel with it, getting students to understand the quality and scope of my classes before they commit to buying any of my paid courses.

"Una forma muy fácil de implementar una academia onine"
What do you like best about Learndash?

Lo que más me ha gustado es que sin tener un gran conocimiento técnico, es muy fácil crear una academia en Wordpress. Además de todos sus addons extra.

What do you dislike about Learndash?

Estéticamente tiene bastante margen de mejora.

What problems is Learndash solving and how is that benefiting you?

Tenía una membresía y LearnDash le ha dado coherencia y orden a los cursos que tenía colgado dentro de la plataforma.

"Easy way to publish an online course and earn revenue from it using Wordpress"
What do you like best about Learndash?

It is easy to install and get started, they even have a template you can use if it is your first time. Adding courses is pretty easy. They have good documentation to walk you through it as well. Modules and lessons are as easy to add as blog posts. You can even style them up with your favorite page builder (although we tend to use Gutenberg).

What do you dislike about Learndash?

Some places can be hard to style the way you want them. I also wish we could add another level of depth for more in-depth courses. You can only add Modules and Lessons so if you need to break down lessons even further, you'll have to do it within one page. Quizes can also be confusing to set up, but luckily we haven't had a need for them yet.

What problems is Learndash solving and how is that benefiting you?

We set up courses for our clients on WordPress websites. Using LearnDash, we can create a user-friendly system where the student can progress through the course and save their progress along the way. Mainly using free add-ons, we can do just about anything we need, including providing a custom student dashboard, branded styling, and membership login/logout links in the menu. For sites with simple membership options, we can even use the built-in membership ability to lock down content and collect payments on sales. The certificate maker enables us to dynamically add the student's name to a downloadable certificate that they can print out, and they look stunning!

"Fantastic LMS plug-in for Wordpress sites!!"
What do you like best about Learndash?

Easy to use, can be worked into almost a "full-grown" corporate LMS - superb support team and new developments!

What do you dislike about Learndash?

If you come from the big LMS companies, there are still a few gaps, but mostly, you can work around it.

What problems is Learndash solving and how is that benefiting you?

Much more financially feasible for a small company. Creating courses and certifications that are fun to follow for our clients and that are accurately tracked in Wordpress and Infusionsoft.

"Best course creation software for Wordpress"
What do you like best about Learndash?

Learndash has simple to use UI, which makes the course creation process way simpler. And, there are Quizzes & Certificates; Quizzes help in making things more Interactive. Certificates help in removing the need of manually creating & sending Certificates.

What do you dislike about Learndash?

It's used on top of Wordpress, which means you are having it on a Hosting Server with your Wordpress Install.

What problems is Learndash solving and how is that benefiting you?

We used LearnDash for creating Online Training Courses, LearnDash has simple to use UI, which makes Course Creation easy, and when you need to explain How-Tos to the team.

"BEST LMS OUT THERE IN THE MARKET"
What do you like best about Learndash?

I have tried online courses that cost hundreds of dollars, but I have never been able to follow through on them. This is because I found them difficult to put together, but more importantly, they were not tailored to my audience. With Learndash, I can create my own courses, sell them to my audience, and make money. To make things even better, the software is affordable, easy to use, and has a great support team.

What do you dislike about Learndash?

No dislikes, I completely love this wonderful platform.

What problems is Learndash solving and how is that benefiting you?

I teach a lot of one-off classes at the university. I realized that I could share my knowledge online, too. So I created an online course using this tool. Now I'm able to share my knowledge with the world!

"Very feature rich and well developed Learning Management System"
What do you like best about Learndash?

Out-of-the box this ships with more features than any other similar system, specifically advanced quiz types with question types for most situations; certificates, automatic grading. Reporting can be enhanced via their compatible ProPanel plug-in. Support response within 24 hours and then happy to respond when requesting status updates for bug fixes; friendly support team.

What do you dislike about Learndash?

Group Leaders do not have user role management capabilities and group sorting, as well as a few other restrictions. Has to be achieved via User Role Editor plug-in which in turn has to be managed with Adminimize to restrict access to the CMS (using with WordPress). No approx. ETA's on bug fixes. Unable to allocate Groups at WordPress user registration level. Feels like a few too many steps between selecting a course and beginning the associated quiz.

What problems is Learndash solving and how is that benefiting you?

Transforms a system like WordPress into a learning management gateway, handled by the plug-in. Enhances a content management website, adding value to an already impressive content management system. The combination of systems is practically seamless.

"Works well"
What do you like best about Learndash?

The organization system of LearnDash (course, lesson, topic) is pretty straightforward and easy to learn. For most people looking to create an online course, this is a great option.

What do you dislike about Learndash?

It has some quirks and bugs, and once you've made a few dozen courses, the static organization structure starts to feel a little cookie-cutter and repetitive. It would be nice to have more customizability.

What problems is Learndash solving and how is that benefiting you?

A big part of our business is producing online courses... LearnDash makes it easy and streamlined to take our course videos and build a functional online course.

"Affordable LMS with lots of options"
What do you like best about Learndash?

LearnDash has a great library of free add-ons to extend functionality and integrate with other WordPress plugins of use to course providers, such as GrassBlade and BadgeOS. New add-ons are added regularly, and it's always exciting to see what a new update will bring.

What do you dislike about Learndash?

LearnDash could do with some improvements in terms of how course content is organized. The current setup is great when working within a course, as all associated content is laid out in the sidebar and easily accessible there. However, outside of a course there isn't much of a folder system.

What problems is Learndash solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am using LearnDash to facilitate language learning courses. LearnDash has allowed me to organize courses, lessons, and topics in a way that is user-friendly for my students and visually appealing. It also has great options for tracking user data. Add-ons have made it easy to work with other useful WordPress plugins.

"Promising Learning Management System "
What do you like best about Learndash?

Integration with Wordpress is solid, this is the best learning management system available for the platform. Many of the components that have been developed are right up there with the industry leading platforms.

What do you dislike about Learndash?

Some vital features are still missing for course and user management, leading to large amounts of unnecessary time for user management. User experience is somewhat clunky, with multiple, repetitive clicks that detract from the experience. "Click to Mark Complete" is a great example - why doesn't the course know that it's complete?!

What problems is Learndash solving and how is that benefiting you?

Providing training online to employees.

"Student portal for online coaching classes"
What do you like best about Learndash?

I like the user ability and cleanliness of the look. It's easy to add courses, add questions, check exam results with propane.

What do you dislike about Learndash?

I'm not a big fan of how it integrates with our Imember360 platform for content protection and our Infusionsoft platform. Once I update one I have to update the others and it always seems like one misaligns.

What problems is Learndash solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have made it easier for our clients to move through the courses, having one lesson open at a time seems to be helpful since we were getting caught with many clients bouncing around too much and not finishing their courses.

"A bit clunky but some things like couponing work well."
What do you like best about Learndash?

Lots of ways to do common things like couponing.

What do you dislike about Learndash?

Some things like course bundling and shopping carts are unnecessarily complex; and when integrated into CMSs, it is hard to track class enrollments with an external tool like GTM because everything is hidden in LD classes and course codes.

What problems is Learndash solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are using it to manage a clients online course enrollment.

"Boeing 737 Max"
What do you like best about Learndash?

Learndash is like the Boeing 737 Max, it gives a good idea of how flying feels. Yet boarding and crossing fingers hoping nothing will ever happen is probably not such a relaxed way of traveling. The best thing is that one knows exactly what to look for in other airplanes.

What do you dislike about Learndash?

Again, like the Boeing 737 Max, it is probably a good product when it is working properly. In our case re-login for students was impossible. Students/customers could easily purchase the product and register. Yet once logged out and trying to log in the whole process needed to be repeated all over again, sometimes including payment (...)

What problems is Learndash solving and how is that benefiting you?

The support team is trying for 2 weeks (!!!) to get the login/logout issue fixed and leaving us in the meantime completely in the dark. Every 2/3 days we have to for a status report and all we get is a thank you for our patience. Needless to say that the only benefit we experience that this issue did happen BEFORE we brought our course on the market. Any entrepreneur or business owner can imagine what this would do for a company AFTER bringing on the market.

"Well designed and highly configurable Wordpress LMS"
What do you like best about Learndash?

LearnDash makes it quick and easy to set up a comprehensive learning management system on your Wordpress site. It scales well and there's a great development community around it, with many great and optional add-ons to further customize it without requiring code changes. Support is very responsive. A couple of times over the last year I've had to contact support with questions about how to do things. They respond quickly and with thorough and helpful answers.

What do you dislike about Learndash?

I don't have a lot to say about dislikes. Occasionally I've had issues with some of the plugins that interface with LearnDash but that is not really a critique of LearnDash itself.

What problems is Learndash solving and how is that benefiting you?

I've been able to quickly build a Wordpress site with a robust LMS built in. It also integrates well with certain Wordpress themes and comes with pre-built integrations to WooCommerce as well as various forms of payment and checkout/subscription platforms.
