It provides all that I need to publish my courses in a professional way. Also, the support given is great.
So far there is nothing I dislike. I would recommend more type of quizzes.
It is a great value for independent content creators. I am able to deliver my course to more students at a reasonable cost.
If you look at all of my reviews, I place a high value on ease of use. LearnDash is a WordPress plugin that enables you to run a full Learning Management System with all the necessary bells and whistles. What is doesn't have is provided by third party plugins that extend the capabilities of LearnDash. From course creation to user experience LearnDash has it covered. The support is great and the creator Justin Ferriman is awesome. I am sure they have thousands of users but he makes you feel like you can always contact him one on one.
Although I love the number of plugins I can use with LearnDash, you can go overboard. The number of options can be overwhelming, but I guess that's a great problem to have.
I had a choice, go with a cloud based LMS and pay upwards to 8 bucks per user or attempt to do it myself. LearnDash solves this problem by providing a comprehensive WP plugin that can meet most if not all of your LMS needs.
I like everything about LearnDash. I would say that I like the drag-and-drop builder functionality the most, as it is by far the most useful feature. It allows my team to see how their course will look as they construct it, so that everything is perfect when it is released. This allows you to see how your courses will look before they go online, and it also allows you to connect everything in real-time.
Nothing that I could dislike. Provides functionality and a wide range of customization options too. Works well with other plugins running on my site as well. The pricing is also decent; in fact, great, for everything it offers the customer.
It's what powers my website - and provides my visitors a reason to visit it. My website is an e-learning organization, and we publish posts and courses. LearnDash plugin takes care of all our course publishing needs, with its easy-to-use navigation pages. It allows us to set our own costs for courses we like to sell - through payment gateways like Square and PayPal. The integration for it is built-in. I came to know the ultimate functionality LearnDash brought only after experiencing it myself.
Out-of-the box this ships with more features than any other similar system, specifically advanced quiz types with question types for most situations; certificates, automatic grading. Reporting can be enhanced via their compatible ProPanel plug-in. Support response within 24 hours and then happy to respond when requesting status updates for bug fixes; friendly support team.
Group Leaders do not have user role management capabilities and group sorting, as well as a few other restrictions. Has to be achieved via User Role Editor plug-in which in turn has to be managed with Adminimize to restrict access to the CMS (using with WordPress). No approx. ETA's on bug fixes. Unable to allocate Groups at WordPress user registration level. Feels like a few too many steps between selecting a course and beginning the associated quiz.
Transforms a system like WordPress into a learning management gateway, handled by the plug-in. Enhances a content management website, adding value to an already impressive content management system. The combination of systems is practically seamless.
I have tried online courses that cost hundreds of dollars, but I have never been able to follow through on them. This is because I found them difficult to put together, but more importantly, they were not tailored to my audience. With Learndash, I can create my own courses, sell them to my audience, and make money. To make things even better, the software is affordable, easy to use, and has a great support team.
No dislikes, I completely love this wonderful platform.
I teach a lot of one-off classes at the university. I realized that I could share my knowledge online, too. So I created an online course using this tool. Now I'm able to share my knowledge with the world!
Very simple structure and straightforward to use. Their support is excellent and they offer video tutorials which I would say are a MUST if you are new to LearnDash. They respect your time and get you on your way knowing what you are doing.
Many features are through partnerships with third party addons that you have to pay extra for. Considering the price, I don't mind paying for things like a visual customizer but I wish more was offered within the core product and they just cahrged mroe for it. That way troubleshooting and support would be simpler (but LearnDash support is excellent)
Used to educate the engineering design community across Canada.
Learndash is like the Boeing 737 Max, it gives a good idea of how flying feels. Yet boarding and crossing fingers hoping nothing will ever happen is probably not such a relaxed way of traveling. The best thing is that one knows exactly what to look for in other airplanes.
Again, like the Boeing 737 Max, it is probably a good product when it is working properly. In our case re-login for students was impossible. Students/customers could easily purchase the product and register. Yet once logged out and trying to log in the whole process needed to be repeated all over again, sometimes including payment (...)
The support team is trying for 2 weeks (!!!) to get the login/logout issue fixed and leaving us in the meantime completely in the dark. Every 2/3 days we have to for a status report and all we get is a thank you for our patience. Needless to say that the only benefit we experience that this issue did happen BEFORE we brought our course on the market. Any entrepreneur or business owner can imagine what this would do for a company AFTER bringing on the market.
How it easily integrates with Memberium and Keaps tag based system.
It could have a little more depth. You can easily create a really nice looking and feeling course. But if you want to go further and push it a bit more, its limiting.
Automated grading and weekly lessons for the customer for easily follow.
