Good statistics, easy to find out what works or what needs modifying in the next mailing
Nothing much really, maybe more facility in changing the design of the text zones, image boxes etc...
Communication was not happening at all in our company, Sendin blue was the solution, happy to have used their services
Campaign analysis and monitoring, ease of setting up campaigns
the templates which could be a little more open to be able to personalize the newsletters even more
some of my campaigns can pose a problem because I work on old files, therefore email addresses which in some cases no longer exist, each time Brevo manages the situation perfectly
We were looking for a marketing tool that would accomodate our need to have everything available in 12+ languages. It's also a great marketing tool for SMS and Email campaigns on its own. We are switching from other marketing tools and Sendinblue seems to perform better on every aspect. Workflows and automation are reliable and do not have a strong delay.
The "blocklisted" feature is not reverseble via automations. So if a contact becomes blocklisted for marketing emails there is really no way to make it active again apart from admin's manual involvement. For example, if a transactional mail will be sent to the user and they decide to subscribe again, there is no automation that could actually change the subscription status from blocklisted for that user. In general, subscription management could be improved as the only option for automations now is to unsubsribe per medium (sms/WA/email) The automations triggers are also not usual to work with sometimes. If a contact gets added to the list via automation, then it is not a trigger for other automations. But if it gets added via API, then it is a trigger for the rest. This made integration harder then it should be especially due to double opt-ins.
Email marketing in 12+ languages, fully localized. Deliverability insights and heatmaps of clicked links.
It is a no code SaaS, so a platform hosted online (so no installation is required) giving you a lot of services that would normally require some HTML or CSS experience to say the least. The free option of the platform gives access to many templates to start creating landing pages, 1 page websites, emails and more. It permits customisation with brand colours as well and is rather intuitive, which means that the software is made to accomodate people with little experience of digital marketing & communication and get them on board with the basics.
I regret that no help is readily available in real time as an online chat. I had to write an email to customer service with a pressing issue and because it was Friday and they were "abnormally busy", I had to wait until Monday to get an answer. The answer got me unstuck instantly, but I would have prefered interacting in real time with someone (NOT a bot as 99% of time they don't help) in real time.
I find it a little bit easier to use than my WordPress website builder to build landing pages and get analytics, yet it is all integrated with WP. I like the customisable templates that have been thought through for various specific needs (newsletters, shopping incentive, etc). It helps me get started with Design foundations already in place (as I am not a Designer, it saves me time and spares me errors I would make should I had to do this on my own and from scratch).
With Brevo it's easy to send emails. In our use case, a geographic games wieb site, we have a big amount of users even if the finacials results are... no so good :) We needed a formula to send emails confidently but at a reasonable cost. And Brevo does th trick. More than this : sending emails is very complicated now. To do it wisely you need to be helped. The Brevo support is very googd for this. Another point is their API. Easy to deploy, easy to use... a good point too.
There is something I dislike : I still didn't understand anything about the sending addresses and the dedicated IPs. But on the other emails sending service it was the same.
Sending a lot of emails at a acceptable cost
Very easy to use with a lot of marketing tools
No a lot of integration with other tools as hubspot for exemple. No options to relaunch automatically an email for the openers or readers. Some bug with exportation. News plans since the new brand design are limited than the previous and more expensive.
Help me reach my customers with intuitive tool and permit to grow the reach of my campaigns. It's a must for young marketer to create marketing strategy around email or sms.
The support team is wonderful - throughout our time I have had A class support
Initially not easy to follow - but their help pages have improved
We send out updates - usually economic and investment related. This is a much cheaper option with Brevo than Mailchimp - we are migrating to Brevo, largely due to price
We can customise the email campaign and play with automations, and its helps me to scheduling emailers very much,
Landing page interface need to improve more, its bit for new user to use the landing pages and forms
Scheduling emails, setting up email automations, managing the Leads Data base, and generating new leads.
Simple interface, suitable for making drip campaigns for multiple ad campaigns, easy to organize newsletters of past campaigns, it's all in-one email campaign tool for all your email marketing needs. Even you can add google analytics tracking, which I think is good to have. It analyses the post-campaign metrics, which are easy to track and makes decisions based on it.
Limited templates for email campaigns, the tool should have templates for all industries; more variations of templates can help set up the campaigns and save a lot of time, IMO. Other than that, it's a solid tool for email marketing.
It helped in Internal and external marketing e-mail campaigns and helped us build internal communications within the company. We made multiple internal campaigns for employee interaction, notifications and so on. Even in external campaigns, we have made drip campaigns for marketing funnels, promotional campaigns, re-engagement e-mails, event invitations, etc. We found this too pretty useful and decided to go for the yearly plan.
Sendinblue is very easy to use. Its user interface is very intuitive. Support is great. It is very easy to use the filters in the lists and campaigns as a result of which I do not need to spend a lot of time in sending the campaigns.
I was very upset when my account was suspended abruptly saying that my opens and clicks have decreased. I am a paid customer and if suddenly my scheduled campaigns are stopped, it becomes very painful
With Sendinblue, I am able to stay in constant contact with my customers and subscribers without having to write individual emails to them informing them about our services.
The whole tool is just awesome. And the price at which it is offering its services is just unbelievable. It is easy to use and easy to master as well. Its automation integration is by far the best and almost glitch-free.
The only room for improvement for Sendinblue will be its speed. It is slow, but compared to other tools out there it is comparatively better. The templates for it load slower compared to other features.
We are meeting our marketing campaign needs with Sendinblue. We send out around 15,000 emails per month, and till now it has proven to be flawless for us. Sendinblue analytics are the best and are very accurate.
It integrates with most services I would need (Shopify for example) and for a small start up like mine w few subscribers, it's free!
Email creation interface could be a bit better but not terrible, pretty standard.
All my email contacts centralized in one area, since I get subscribers from a few different places. Syncs with my Shopify customer list!
Pricing model. I need a pay per email/sms sent, not a pay per contact on my database, and SIB fulfills perfect
Bad experiences with customer support...
Email and SMS campaigns to fans going to shows in my venue.
It's easy to understand where to click to get results and functionalities
T do not see a choice of multi-languages for the training in the Academy section yet
I just started. I see how great it will use automation for sending emails and campaigns
Add unlimited contacts and send daily 300 emails in free plan, that is great for small business to grow.
UI and email reporting are proper. If there is any issue , you have to research to find it.
Easy to start, easily send bulk emails with their email credit system.
Easy to use, easy to scale and affordably priced. I've used a number of CRM and mailing platforms. If you don't need all the CRM features but want to have emai automation and drip campaigns SendinBlue is a great solution.
There is some delay in launching campaigns to new mailing lists. Sendinblue is very cautious about protecting sender reputation so there is a delay of up to a day on your firt campaign and then up to a hour for subsequent campagins while they scan and review the deliverablilty of your list. In the end, it is for everyone's benefit but if you need to get a messag out in a rush... you can't do it.
It is great for companies that are building their mailing list and need to start small but grow. Unlike other CRMs that charge based on list size SendinBlue only charges based on message volume. As your needs grow you can just pay for the additonal features you need or keep it simple and just buy more message credits.
Creating landing pages with customizable signup forms is my most favorite part. The other part that I like most is the theme builder for all my email campaigns
Some emails can be marked as spam and the only way to completely avoid this issue is only if you buy the Sendinblue dedicated IP.
Monitoring and segmenting contacts depending on how they interact with our products online and getting an insight on which products they have interest with to easily target them when sending out email campaigns.
Customer service is great, also the step by step process helps a lot
I believe that premium licence is costly for a beginer like me.
First SMTP experience, i have been trying to configure a newslete subscription list for a podcasts blog.
It is very easy to set up the email template and create our monthly e-newsletters. We have a lot of subscribers and it is great value for our type of e-newsletters. It also manages all the unsubcribes for us and gives us some valuable insight into our campaign performance.
Sometimes it is a little slow to update images, but other than that it is very good.
We run an engineering news website and it makes managing our subscribers simple and producing the e-newsletters quick and easy.
