There is nothing helpful about Pipedrive and their support is very poor
We have been a Pipedrive user for many many years and recently moved out. We had built so much tech over it that we kept compromising our experience but finally there was so much business loss with them that we had to move out. I want to tell you why you should think thrice not twice before even thinking of Pipedrive. Their pricing is not transparent, they keep increasing the prices every now and then, and will automatically upgrade you to a new plan with a higher value and your card will be automatically charged for a higher amount. They will downgrade features in the current plan and ask you to upgrade to get the same features. We faced this issue multiple times across our journey of many years. The tech of Pipedrive is outdated, it often goes down and services become unavailable, you might lose critical hours during the day due to this. They have multiple stability issues. We lost business for days when this kept happening. Their API’s get unresponsive multiple times which led to choking out our entire sales funnel. Worst part is the support response time is pathetically slow, it's anywhere between 2-4 days. We use 100’s of SAAS products and this one is by far the worst ever. Honestly we should have moved out of Pipedrive years before, it's a disaster waiting for your business if you opt for it. I strongly suggest you take a demo of Leadsquared, Salesforce, and FreshSales if you are thinking of Pipedrive. Also if you like the UI interface of Pipedrive go n try Teamwave, it’s ⅕ the price of Pipedrive with almost all features. Regards, Thrillophilia Team
They are not solving any problem and their support is creating more issues instead of solving the problem
Easy to use, easy to costumize and unlike their competition, their service is very friendly.
Lack of features which exist on more expensive alternatives.
When you need a basic CRM with basic functionality and a convenient pricing. This platform would solve your problem.
Pipedrive is probably the most easy to use CRM I have tried on the market. It is designed more for the end user in mind; therefore there is little to no adoption curve. I also feel that there has been a host of solid integrations created for Pipedrive to allow you to work in easily with our products in the stack. As a sales leader, keeping my employees happy is critical and have also used Pipedrive in previous roles for similar reasons
I feel that Pipedrive can do some more work around enabling sales teams to actually get going out of the box with recommend deal flows and processes. Also I feel that reporting functions could also be further clarified. I also think that simple changes like including both a delineated first and last name out of the box are quick changes that would add alot of value for practical reasons
Pipedrive provides a cost effective solution to get up and running with limited friction. It also allows us to actively manage and triage leads effectively
Pipedrive at first sight is a very complete program and one of those that are undoubtedly essential in any office. What I like most about this program is that it allows me to manage it from any device. So I can work from my office with my team of colleagues or from the comfort of the armchair of my house checking a Tablet. In addition, its price is low in relation to other competing programs. The price-value ratio is excellent. I can customize Pipedrive and adapt it to the requirements of my company. In addition, it synchronizes very well with other applications allowing data and information to be imported from other CRMs. It really is an excellent tool.
I consider that one aspect to improve is the attention provided by the technical service. A month ago we presented a problem and unfortunately the answer did not arrive on time so we had to find alternatives to solve the problem at that time.
Today we can say that since we started using Pipedrive sales in our company have increased significantly. In the last semesters we have increased profit margins and this certainly has to do with the CRM offered by Pipedrive that facilitates many of the processes that used to take us more time and effort. We are satisfied with this application that has brought us great benefits.
If you are ok with the price, the application supports your basic CRM Capabilities.
My wife & I subscribed to Pipedrive a year ago. We found that the CRM capabilities were ok but that our POS system worked just as well for our customer contact needs. Used the software for approx. Two months and stopped. This year, May 1st, 2023, without prior notice, communication or reaching out, Pipedrive charged us for another full year…. Not a one-month subscription, pay as you go, but a full-year subscription. I escalated this to Pipedrive customer service, and they said, ‘Sorry about your luck, should have read the fine print’…… didn’t mention or apologize for their inability to communicate that they were going charge our credit card for an entire year or offer to refund 11 of the 12 months for this year. We escalated this to our bank’s fraud department to dispute the charge, as this company is the definition of fraud. Pipedrive believes in charging its customers as much as possible and then stiffing them on the way out. As owners of a small business, who pride ourselves on supporting customers in any way we reasonably can, I find Pipedrive’s actions unethical and rank them as the worst customer service ever! Don’t purchase Pipedrive; it’s a sham!
Keeping track of customers.... however, we found that our POS system was more than adequate and did not need to spend more on Pipedrive.
EASY, B2B READY CRM, very simple and well-processed, the basic price of good, it is easy to learn and there is enough support
in addition to the basic price, the fees for the added value are high, otherwise I do not have any reservations against this program
MORE B2B
The price is extremely appealing. We were coming from a much more expensive CRM which we wanted to get away from and Pipedrive was an attractive option as far as the price tag was concerned. There's no annual fee/minimum user number, just a monthly fee for each member of your team. Plus, there are multiple tiers of service, so you can choose whichever one works for you.
Unfortunately, after using Pipedrive for a few months, it's clear that it's lacking key marketing features that I'd like to see. There's no useful way to perform email marketing. You can set a workflow that triggers 'reminders' to send an email, but no automated email from what I've seen. Workflow automation is another feature I was sold on, but it's lacking compared to other workflow tools I've used. You can only create one "trigger" and each concurrent step is in relation to that, so you have to do some mental math if you want steps to happen days, or weeks out. Additionally, you can only set 10 activity steps, so if you're planning on nurturing people weeks or months out with more than 10 steps, you have to create a whole other workflow. Additionally, workflows can't trigger emails from other users. So, I, as an admin, cannot create a workflow for one of my team to run from their email address. It's extremely frustrating. Obviously this is more a sales tool than it is a marketing one, but I get the impression that salespeople would benefit from more refined features like the ones mentioned above.
We're using Pipedrive to organize our contacts and potential leads for easier communication/outreach. One of the benefits I've noticed is that once you get used to the layout of Pipedrive, it becomes pretty easy to navigate and use to keep records of your contacts.
The price is huge factor. This program combines a lot of what the others do and it's available for what I believe to be low cost. I do the plan for $29 monthly and it works out great.
Like most of these programs, I want someone who knows my specific industry to really help me and my team customize this CRM for a smoother sales process. I feel like most of these companies don't understand the insurance/financial industry the way we do and really should utilize us when building out our sector.
Collaboration on cases. This is huge because we can streamline everything we are doing and keep people in their roles. Our company believes in utilizing our unique abilities and this allows us to stay in our lane and be good at what we know and not have to do anything that the other guy should be doing. This keeps us organized.
