Melio links with QuickBooks Online very easily and shows scheduled payments. It is very user friendly.

I love that I can schedule bill payments directly in QuickBooks online and you can see exactly who you paid and how much in the QuickBooks feed.
I have had some trouble with international payments which was a bit frustrating but ultimately was resolved.
Previously, one of my clients would pay bills through their bank and that meant some of the vendor payments were lumped together and not easy to see who was paid and how much. Now with Melio, this is extremely clear and bookkeeping is easier.
Its a very usefull platform with a very intuitive navigation thath make easy a lot of process

Melio is a free B2B online payment platform tailored to the needs of small businesses in the United States. It's a great alternative to the time-consuming and costly bill-paying methods that these companies are currently using.
Melio only works with QuickBooks and does not support international payments.
Melio assists in maintaining control and minimizing cash flow issues.
There are no fees to get paid. I like that it is also free for my customers if they choose the ACH method & it is inexpensive for CC payments.
Sometimes the invoice due dates I have in Quickbooks don't match the due dates imported into Melio.

The ability to schedule payments to vendors far in advance. This saves our business a lot of time when it comes to end-of-month task items. The UI is also extremely easy to understand and work around. Unlike allot of other payment processors, Melio has the ability to do Credit Cards and ACH transfers. There fees are extremely low for ACH transfers.
Very minor things. It is not possible to change the default purple color. You cannot preview or edit the emails that are sent to payers or recipients. This makes it impossible to keep things on brand.
We pay monthly royalties to educators using Melio.
We love that Melio integrates with QBO online and is free to use for basic payments. We've paid expedite fees and check fees when needed and like that there is an option to pay or not pay fees based on our client needs and timing.
Melio can be a little glitchy when trying to add new clients for our firm. Having to add them from a specifc QBO login can get a little cumbersome and Melio retains old ghost bills that can't be deleted or cleared occasionally.
Melio is helping us to provide quality accounts payable for our clients, the interface is consistent and we can see all our clients from the dashboard. We like the connectivity with QBO which is the accounting software we use exclusively.

Melio has a user-friendly platform that is simple to navigate & use. I love how quickly I can manually enter my bills to pay my vendors. The consistency over all is top-notch.
When an issue does arise, customer service is next to impossible to reach. We had an issue a little over 4 months ago. The issue took over a month to resolve and only really was resolved after we contacted Melio's banking partner.
Melio is solving our need to pay via ACH without the hoops or extremely high fees normally applied to ACH payments. Overall, small businesses are operating at an extreme disadvantage in the United States of America. Corporations have the capital and the people power to generally out-pace small businesses. Melio helps fill a gap small businesses need to stay competitive without costing those small businesses.
I like the simplicity of Melio and the integration with Quickbooks Online. It is easy to use and makes paying AP quick and painless. The setup of it is so easy and great for clients with lower volume.
I do not like the fact you cannot pay multiple invoices with one check. I do not think vendors appreciate the multiple checks from the same company. The lag time of the checks seems to have gotten worse. It is also hard to sort through previous history and organize it well.
It is a great AP solution and it's affordable. It makes paying AP a really simple and easy process, which is great from the accountant's side. The ability to pay with CC if needed is also a plus.

the integration with QBO is simple to use and makes paying bills from QBO a breeze. It's simple and easy to use in a product and removes a lot of the redundancy that comes with having more than one software to use.
There are no clean approval workflows that truly separate people's ability to process payments. It is easy to use in and out of QBO, and can cause the wrong person control over the out flow of cash.

Invoices can be easily imported or manually entered. Very user-friendly. The ability to pay all invoices at once or schedule them is a great option!
I would the ability to just have one withdraw for a batch payment to come out of my bank account instead of individual amounts.
Melio allows me to easily pay my contractors via direct deposit instead of writing checks and mailing them. Saves me time and money.
ACH payments process pretty fast and it gives you the option for overnight payment.
once you process a payment if you need to cancel you can't the only way to do it is to contact support. it thakes them about 7 days to get the money back.
I use it when i have to process overnight ACH payments. When I have something that needs to be paid ASAP Melio the one.
Melio has definitely streamlined our bill pay process for a number of our vendors. The ability to email a photo of an invoice and have the data import is great.
There are just a few small bugs that are annoying, but don't really affect the overall functionality. I've reported them to Melio and hope to see them fixed in the future.
We didn't have a solution in place for streamlining bill pay. Being able to ACH some vendors and have checks sent out to others is great

I love being able to upload bills and pay vendors right from my phone. The workflow for approval is pretty seemless. I also like giving vendors the option of getting a direct deposit or a mailed check. customer service has been very responsive on the many chats I've had to make.
When my vendors make a mistake, it takes a little while to rectify (e.g. the vendor gives Melio the wrong bank account number and the payment fails and they've already taken the funds out of my bank!). Also the report export is hard to find (even though I do it every month; I just can't seem to remember where it is. I think there should be a way to get there right from the main menu or top bar. Also there should be a way to edit the csv export prior to exporting (only export what you need).

ACH payments take way too long for payment
I am trying to avoid paying ACH/Credit card fees. Melio is free , so I have avoided them. I would like the option for a quicker payment.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE -- you can't get answers, there is no phone number to call and even the executives are not customer oriented as evidenced by my LinkedIn interaction with their Chief Business Officer -- culture is a reflection of the behaviors of senior management, so it makes sense as to why they treat customers so poorly.

It connects to QBO and has a pretty seamless system. Nice looking UI. Worked and I was excited about using the system and speaking highly of it.
Their support team refused to respond to my messages when our new bank blocked the payment. No one jumped on the phone to resolve this issue and we had many payments that never went out. It's now March 10 and I submitted payments before the end of February. Rents are delayed, vendors are unhappy, and so are our internal partners/executives. It also takes a long time for ACH payments to hit your vendor's accounts and they withdraw from your bank immediately.
