Our team has been using mailmodo now more than a year. We switched from sengrid due to high pricing. Mailmodo is very cost-efficient and has most features compared to any popular transactional email services like - SES, SendGrid etc. We use mailmodo primarily for the following purposes - * We create and manage email campaigns, including drag-and-drop email builders, automated workflows, and A/B testing. * It has an easy user interface * We really like the number of email credits they give, it is more than any provider we used so far. * It also has multiple integrations with third-party tools, making it easier for sales and marketing teams to integrate data from other tools.
The user experience when deleting campaigns and minor pricing and payment glitches. I am sure all these will be improved and fixed over some time. No doubt about that.
We use it for sending email campaigns to our vast audience set of more than 300K users. It also helps in planning our email performance and metrics so that we can change our marketing strategies.
One of the best thats available in this space. One big thing that I would like to highlight here would be the support team that's assigned to each of the accounts. They are super helpful and always there to guide and help you with whatever requirements you have in terms of platform usage. Plus they are always sharing updates on how the campaign performance in terms of inbox deliverability and open rates can be improved.
Nothing much to dislike here. There were some features that were missing when we initially started using the platform, however, the team took it up and it was made available in a couple. of months time.
We were switching our email service provider frequently either due to the service being offered or the exorbitant cost that they would charge. since our usage was on the higher side we needed something that would cover both these aspects of optimal performance at the right cost.
One of the best features of Mailmodo is its drag-and-drop email builder, which makes it easy for users to design visually appealing emails without any coding skills. We don't use some additional AMP functions like forms, surveys, quizzes, and countdown timers but are willing to extend the product to match the cases. I like the fact that Mailmodo integrates with popular email services providers like Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, and Sendinblue, making it easy to use with your existing email marketing tools. The compatibility with Hubspot makes working with segments and actions designed in Hubspot easier. Mailmodo also provides detailed analytics to track the performance of your email campaigns, including open rates, click-through rates, and engagement metrics. This allows users to measure the effectiveness of their campaigns and make data-driven decisions to improve their results.
It would be great if Mailmodo offered a direct integration with Data Warehousing (DWH) platforms, enabling users to create their emails using data from their warehouse. With such integration, users would have access to the most current and relevant data to craft their emails, resulting in more personalized and targeted messages. By directly connecting to a DWH, I don't have to bother with wiring API calls and do additional data engineering.
We were searching for a more cost-effective substitute to Mailchimp that offers greater benefits to B2B SaaS firms. While I have not personally tested Mailmodo, I am intrigued by the platform's capability to address the problem of low engagement rates that arise from dull and unstimulating emails.
It is a good solution for its price: it gives you flexibility in setting terms and conditions for sending emails.
It is quite a simple solution compared to other alternatives (Mailchimp, Intercom, etc)
Mailmodo lets you send mass emails (newsletters) and triggered emails. We decided to try it because of triggered emails where you can set conditions for the email campaigns.
From the first, we were really mindblown with the AMP features that Mailmodo had to Offer. The customer engagement and interactive features that Mailmodo AMP email provides got us and our customers. We have had a great experience using the service and getting to know our customers better through feedback, data forms and other engagement emails.
One thing where we needed a customized AMP template for our business use case, we requested them. Their support team couldn't really help with our request as they being a small team had bandwidth issues to entertain such special requests. In the future, if they accommodate such requests it will increase user stickiness.
We used Mailmodo for the following purposes: - Manage and Track Campaigns - Send data forms/ sliders/ feedbacks/ cart to add products and 100+ other features - Open rates/ bounce rates/ unsubscribe/ clicks/ any interactive submissions can be tracked in a seamless manner - Email automation for Payment success/ Cart Reminders/ Birthday messages and more - Several integrations with Zapier/ Google Sheets/ Hubspot/ Salesforce CRMs All work seamless with 100% accuracy in data.
Overall I am satisfied with the use of the tool in terms of value for money. I believe I will continue to use Mailmodo for a long time. The structure is very simple and practical. I can build campaigns and automations without too many problems.
It would be better if Mailmodo had more design tools suitable to the company's style. Overall nothing to say.. So far the best email marketing tool compared to other competitors
It solves our email automation to our marketing leads and it actually benefited us adding more value to our clients
Ability to get the desired action from user - feedback, appointments, ratings, etc. in the email itself
You still need Google to approve your domain to be AMP eligible
As a VC, we asked all of our portfolio companies to use mailmodo for their email marketing campaigns. The platform was easy to sign up (self serve), the companies were able to see improvements in conversion rates immediately. These are Seed/Series A stage companies. We also use mailmodo to send our quarterly newsletter to our LPs and get feedback.
AMP mails reduce extra clicks and Mailmodo has built a good framework to enable just that. The ability to connect our own SMTP is a big plus Drop-in modules of the most commonly used tools save a lot of time
More font options will be better. Even better will be Google Fonts integration
Making our users engage more in the mail we send so that they can do more inside the mail avoiding extra clicks on an external website. Book a meeting inside an email- check Take feedback inside a mail - check Custom SMTP - check
