It's great value, it's simple and easy to use interface, it does what it needs to do and was simple to implement and integrate into our workflow. The ability to attach documents, allow approvers to add comments and just the overall flow of the program is great. The user interface looks great and navigation around it is simple, those are always pros. The admin tools are also good, with ease of adding and removing individuals from the system.
It's lack of integration with expensify or ability to do things that expensify can. As a result we double up and run both systems. Otherwise there is not a whole lot of things I dislike about the system.
Proper approval routing and traceable records for any expenses run through our company. It adds a certain level of accountability for controlling spending.
It helps to bring together collaboration internally to loop in all necessary parties when trying to process unique discounts for deals.
Updates could be better in regards to who have seen the messages and maybe as well what we are waiting on.
This process has helped us to standardize our discounting procedures for a smoother internal communicative process.
Some of the key advantages of KissFlow is that it integrates with any GSuite environment seamlessly as it is a lightweight application that sits on GCP allowing for easy single sign on access with your email. Also its easily accessible from any of the other google apps and allows you to input files and spreadsheets from google sheets and google drive. Its very easy to use and the UI panels are very self explanatory. Also you're able to cater to what your business needs!
The only issues i've ever had with KissFlow is that at times we have issues accessing old expense reports. At times the repository of old claims will have issues pulling up making it difficult to backtrack some work however after refreshing the portal a few times, it will pull in old expense reports and other forms.
With KissFlow we are able to to allow our employee base to self service themselves with expense reports and other spend reports for accounting to see with pushing more paper to their department. We are also able to extend the application to the appropriate employees as it can be configured within out Gsuite environment. We've realized this also serves as an organization tool for our accounting team to keep tracking of everything they need to process.
Kissflow has really streamlined our accounts payable process. We are able to have higher ups see what we're buying so they can approve or deny. It has also allowed us to analyze employee spending via reimbursements and company cards in a detailed way that has enabled us to cut costs. Also, we have asked that everyone puts a detailed amount of information on every submission so there isn't any more back and forth when trying to find information for accounting.
On occasion, when there is an issue with Kissflow, the app team doesn't respond fast enough to the issue. Also, they weirdly have you call them to talk it through when, in my experience, giving directions over the chat has worked perfectly fine.
Before Kissflow, we were constantly emailing employees to approve invoices and then sending them to their supervisors for higher approval. Additionally, we were asking for specific details so we were able to book invoices and expenses correctly. In Kissflow, everything is within the PR submission. And if there are any issues, we can push it back to the submitter to get more info. The other big perk is that a number of expenses are directly attributed to customers and we can note that very easily in Kissflow submissions.
Online support service is exceptionally quick. Submitted questions will have a reply within 10 minutes. This is very personal as you will be provided with a customer support representative. You can customise almost anything in your workflow, review can be passed between users and managers, most usefully you can also set up departments and sites which allows the business process to easily self manage.
Pricing, it would benefit from a more variable pricing structure. If a user has not signed in for a month it would make sense not to charge for them. Much like Slack.
Travel risk assessment and authorisation. This now allows managers to sign off travel and risk assessments.
Kissflow provided a convenient option for our team to streamline the approval process.
The additional costs associated with maintaining an approval process software and an expense report management tool. Therefore, we could integrate everything into the one expense management tool and not require a separate approval process software.
It helped us streamline multiple approval processes based on different workflows.
It's a Cost-effective tool for workflow management, and customer service is always reachable and responds on time.
Not easily customizable for every customer's requirement, need to improve on that area.
It brought drastic improvements to our timeline for a workflow management tool, where it handles multiple stakeholders in one place. Also, we have incorporated various processes into one tool. So it's effective.
The ease of use and that it's right in my gmail inbox options - I also like that expenses and time off go to the same person.
Not clear what else is available through KissFlow besides the few features I personally use. I also can't see who my manager is - I've been needing to change it but I don't know if it's changed or not until I submit an expense.
Makes internal workflow easier and allows transparency.
