It's difficult to choose one thing I like best about Illustrator, but I love that it's now available on iPad.

There's not a dang thing I dislike about Illustrator.

I can quickly and easily create and re-create social media graphics with Illustrator. Newer features simplify a lot of actions helping us save time on content creation.

For the previous five years, I've been using Adobe Illustrator to create logos and manage icons. Also, make personal items such as invitations and prints. What I like best about this app is that it allows you to start from scratch, personalize texts, edit graphics that stay strong even when expanded to any size, and use versatile shapes and functionalities like the mesh tool, perspective grids, shape generators, column and graph generators, and of duration the trusty pen tool to quickly and easily build successful graphics for both academic or artistic purposes. I especially appreciate the ability to export as a PDF or edit a PDF. I find it to be far more user-friendly than Photoshop.

It can be too hefty at times, causing my machine to crash.

I use it primarily for freelance graphic design, such as creating a party invitation for a friend, social media content, or even personal items such as a clothing print or banner, among other things.

I am less familiar with Illustrator than other Adobe programs, but I quickly figured out how to create and edit graphics and use the many powerful tools in the program. Artboards, text editing, alignment tools, layers, image editing.

Great application! Super minor dislike, but sometimes the auto-alignment guides don't choose the correct element to align with, likely because of the arrangement of layered elements.

Access to colors or selecting an area of a picture can take more clicks than expected. The follow devices have come a long way since older forms of Artist but still don't dependably change each picture into usable vectors, i.e., you cannot easily change a photo into line craftsmanship by simply employing a follow instrument.

The good thing about Adobe Illustrator is you can do anything you want with it, as far as designing graphics and creating any digital artwork or illustration.

What I like best about Adobe Illustrator is its extremely user-friendly graphical user interface and its variety of tools to manipulate shapes, color, and typography, as well as having the ability to create cool animations and interactive graphics and effects. It also allows you to customize your workspace, so you can readily access the specific features and tools for the type of artwork or graphic you're creating.

The only thing I dislike is that it feels too much like Photoshop, and it's harder to use. It took me a while to learn this tool, and sometimes I find it easier to work with other Adobe CC tools even if they're more limited in what they can do with vector graphics (you can't create vector graphics from nothing in Photoshop, but you can convert raster images into vector images).

I am using Adobe Illustrator to create and modify logos and custom icons for my web design clients. It's an awesome complementary tool to have in my web design toolbox. Adobe CC has tutorials that make it easier to learn the software now, so I began to use it a lot more lately.

The uses interface is so simple to use for as a beginner user

It can be discouraging for beginners, and sometimes it can crash. So try to save your files as much as you can.

Illustrator is easy to use. It has commonalities with all Adobe products. If you learn how one program works, it is easy to use another one. Illustrator is great for designing logos and custom marketing materials.

As being a freelancer in graphic designer, these adobe tools help me the most. I mostly use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for designing purposes. Sometimes it can be a little difficult to learn all the features and tools of Adobe Illustrator. The price is too high and can be a little slow on low-end computers.

The quality of products that can be produced with this program is AWESOME! We love using this program to create beautiful newsletters for our staff.

You have to do a lot of learning to create things just how you want them- but that's okay because there are plenty of resources available!

We send educational newsletter to staff after using this program to create them. This is something that our staff enjoy, as they can enjoy the newsletters on their lunch breaks.

I like its ability to create very high-quality icons, logos and digital art. The application is explicitly designed for designers. I used it to create logos for other companies. This application is focused towards the specific creators.

This application will require some practice and has a learning curve to it. Other than that there is nothing to dislike about this product.

I used to create Logos as well as specific fonts for clients. I mainly used to create banners for the clients for their projects or events.

My marketing team greatly enjoy using Illustrator as part of the Adobe Creative Cloud. This allows us to access team files and projects across Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere Pro. Being able to share art assets and fonts across Adobe platforms allows our team to be able to streamline all our marketing tasks, especially when it involves different kinds of media such as photographs, videos and artwork.

The prohibitive price of an annual subscription. It feels that Adobe is trying to get users to purchase their full suite of software, as the purchase price of individual solutions or some of the packages don't feel like they are value for money. The packaged suite of products usually consist of a couple of software that we don't utilize, so it seems like a waste of money. It would be nice if we could purchase individual solutions at a cheaper price.

Running a direct-to-consumer (DTC) eyecare brand, we use Illustrator for all our marketing and branding activities. The graphic designer in my marketing team uses it on a daily basis to layout artwork for branding purposes, such as logos, product packaging, advertisements, etc. The social media team also uses it, together with Photoshop, on daily basis to create content for our Facebook and Instagram accounts. We greatly enjoy the benefit of Adobe Creative Cloud - different teams are able to share art assets across our platforms, which streamlines processes and reduces time taken for project administration. Changelogs and file versions are more easily tracked as we are able to see which team member last assessed and updated project files.

It is the most sophisticated design platform I've ever used.

It is difficult to use for a beginner, but once taught correctly, it is the best design platform to use.

We are solving problems for in-house designs. This saves a tremendous amount of money in the long run.
