Easy manipulation of sound. It can easily add effects and enhance sounds in several ways.
Adobe Audition has a bit of a learning curb for those not used to working with sound on this level.
Creating new media, editing media, syncing up voiceovers, and all sound-related editing.
For me personally, Adobe Audition is the Gold Standard. From editting to creating, Pitch bending to creaqting sounds you may not get through other means. this is the program you want. I really would hope that after researching all you can do with this program you would not look anywhere else for a user friendly editior. .
The fact is that Adobe is the Gold Standard and can therefore Charge because it is a Good Program and Adobe Knows it. However, there are ways to get Audition as part of a "Creative Suite" for pennies on the dollar. Yes, the regular price is sucky, but if you can get it...It is worth it.
If you are trying to mix a song with individual tracks, the Multi-Track feature is HANDS DOWN, the easiest to use, and provides the best and most professional creation tool you can use. If you are editing snaps, pops, or breaths from a song your recorded or a file that has gotten old and is therefore scratchy, you can do so with Audition. I love this program, and I am sure you will love it also.
Adobe Audition is tightly integrated into the Creative Cloud workflow, and helps me to quickly record audio voiceover pieces and import them into my Premiere projects. Not only that, but the tools within Adobe Audition have expanded to the point that I hardly use any of my old audio editing tools.
As with all Adobe products, it would be nice to have similar key commands, but some things are legacy from other pieces of software, and Audition starting in Logic is no exception. Great tool otherwise, and this is an extremely small complaint from someone who works multiple platforms with the software, Mac, PC, laptop and desktop.
Cleaning up audio mixes on live recordings is a snap, and saves not only time, but money. Productivity has gone up on shoots because we know that we can sort out any audio issues in post.
Audition provides all the tools necessary to edit audio, whether you're working on a film, a song, a podcast, or anything else.
Audition is not quite as advanced as other DAWs when it comes to music, but it has the basics so it's good for beginners.
Audition allows me to dive deep into sound editing when working on commercials at my company. I can clean up background noise, enhance human speech, and overall make it more pleasant to listen to.
Adobe Audition is excellent for me to import audio and clean it up. I can also set templates so that when I have similar audio files, I don't have to recreate it each time!
I wish there were better auto templates so that I didn't have to look up as many tutorials. It is relatively easy to learn, but it could be better.
Audio editing and mastering for video production projects. I use the noise removal alot to get rid of bad noise as well as the compressor to make the audio more even.
Audition is easy to use. It's fairly straightforward to set up and doesn't have a major learning curve like some of the other big audio softwares.
The software is somewhat clunky. It works well overall, but the number of clicks to get some things done or the clunky editing can be sticking points.
Audition is an excellent solution for medium to medium-large churches, podcast recording (with more than a few inputs), or small video editing (short youtube videos, social media, etc.
I love that I can access Audition right through Premier, and they work together seamlessly.
It's not exactly intuitive to use if you are unfamiliar with audio software. It was a bit overwhelming for me when I first started using it.
I can edit audio on the fly right out of Premier, and once I save the corrected audio, it automatically updates in Premier.
It's easy to get into, and that is the beginning. What I love best is the fact you can run through a multitrack session so quickly and simply. It makes my life easier when doing so many layers of audio.
The only thing I dislike about Adobe Audition is you have to pay for it. Honestly, that is it. On the one hand, you get what you pay for. You get more options than any free or paid software, and its integration with Adobe Premiere Pro is stunning
Between editing podcasts and tweaking audio in my video projects, the seamless integration with other software makes all my projects much easier to manage. That is worth its weight in gold.
Excellent program for audio editing, very versatile and full of possibilities. When associated with other adobe programs we have a great immersion in audio visual. I use it a lot to improve my audios on videos that I need to edit. With its integrations we can easily add other elements to audios taken directly from premiere or after effects. I think the communication between applications and the practicality of communication between program is fantastic As interfaces are similar and from the same creator, it is easy to work in parallel with these integrations. I think this program for editing audios is fantastic.
It's not Adobe's most complex program, but that doesn't leave the possibilities and versatility behind. I find it very easy to import audio from other programs and then import again. Perhaps the only problem with this program is the same as with all the others in adobe. Due to the complexity and possibility, firstly, it is not a very user-friendly program. Still, because it is widely used, we have access to a lot of good material that brings all the necessary knowledge to develop great work.
Our biggest gain with this program is being able to go further in audio editing. Premiere and after-effects are complete, but when we can fix more mistakes with Audition, we can take our videos to another level. I think their integration and how quick it is to get the job done is fantastic. It certainly gives you a lot of agility and speed at work, managing to deliver jobs faster and many times before what was promised.
I really like peerless restoration and repair capability. It made the complex processes look very easy. I did not face any trouble while starting with the tool & the best part about is the dynamic link function.
There is nothing to dislike according to me except one thing. It doesn't support MIDI which causes issues many times. It is very heavy and the subscription is also costly. For a student, it's too much because I started using it when I was a student.
It helps me make audio and music perfectly to sync with the videos I create for my company. It helps me make the right content which helps me gain more traction and engagement on the social content.
Adobe audition is really amazing software when it comes to remove the noise, enhance the speech, amplify the audio and enhance the vocals, it covers almost every feature for sound engineering, the noise reduction feature and sound leveler feature are the most helpful features for me while doing voice overs for my youtube videos. it is really an industry standard software loaded with all the features.
The interface is hard to understand for beginners and without a course or guidance it is quite hard to know all the features of adobe audition, simply it is quite difficult to learn but when learn it. then you will find the quality in your voice and music. one feature is missing is while using a video to edit it's voice and when you export that audio it create a separate audio file ( edited version) so you have to use video and audio on 2 files, so that's a demerit.
I use adobe audition to provide voice over to my videos. we doesn't go with the depth of this software but we use all the essential features of this software to produce an enhanced voice over for our youtube video and online course material and it works really amazing without any studio.
I love all the features it has to make my audio sound as good as possible.
It's little difficult to understand how things work, but when you're unfamiliar with working with audio, that makes sense.
I use it to edit podcasts, mostly. I've made presets to make that workflow super fast for me. I also use a plugin to get rid of horrible echo in the videos I shoot if needed.
Like most Adobe software, this is an extremely capable audio editor with the ability to do anything you could ever want to do.
I wish it was a little easier to learn when I started using it. But once you figure things out, it's worth it!
I do my video edit in Premiere, but I always bring the music into Audition to edit, it's so much easier to remix the timing of the music and customize it to be what you want exactly. Your not contstrained to the frames of your sequence in Premiere either, so it makes editing the music so much more exact and easy.
This software is easy to handle and can do all our Digital audio editing and mixing later. This software does not require specialized computers and works well on most computers. This software has all the necessary tools for audio cutting, mixing, and effects adding. We can also fine-tune the existing audio effects here and adding the effects we need externally as a plugin so that we can do good clearly audio editing.
Creations from older versions can only be saved as ( .ses), while newer versions have difficulty opening older files (.ses), leaving only (.sesx) files open.
We have been training our students on this software since 2007 and currently have five studios. The basic principles of the audio enginniring curriculum provided to these students are imparted through this software.Problems with this software are minimal and there are no software crashes or stuck. Therefore, this software saves our company time and money .
Adobe audition is a great tool to use it for the audio edit, create and remix the music to create a very good music. It provides built in effects and very good audition of music.
For professional version we need to pay the monthly subscription amount and no opportunities for students by the adobe
I used it to create, edit and remix the different recorded music. I love to use adobe audition. Every time i use it i feel very good to use audition.
The interface is straightforward. Uses an established multitrack metaphor.
Would love the ability to pull audio tracks from video for noise reduction rather than going through another package to export the audio from the video.
I use Audition most often for cleaning up the audio from video shot in the field. Besides being an excellent multitrack recording platform, Audition also have an excellent set of noise reduction tools including taking a "noise print" of a portion of a track and applying it to reduce the noise level for the entire track.
The software is easy to use and navigate around. You can easily undo anything you just entered. Visually pleasing to use.
You have to purchase other options if you want to edit video.
Adobe audition was able to record my recordings in high quality due to the various options provided. Tutorials were also very helpful for any questions I had.
Audition has always been simple to pick up and use. I've been a user since the days of Cool Edit Pro (aka the original product before Adobe purchased and rebranded it to Audition). Here's what works for me: -There are two workspaces, Waveform and Multitrack, that keep the interface laid out for what task you're working on directly. -The Effects Rack allows for a non-destructive way of editing your recording in the same way that layers do in Photoshop. You can tweak all you need without committing the changes until you're ready. -The Multitrack workspace just makes sense out of the gate, especially if you've ever worked a mixer board. -The newer learning tools added help you learn the basics of not only the software but recording in general. -The Sound Destroyer Effect is incredible at removing unwanted artifacts in your audio
I feel like the only thing that doesn't work for me is that the Effects Rack can't be saved with the file. I understand that you can't embed these things into the audio file, but having a proprietary format like every bit of Adobe software, including Multitrack Sessions in Audition, have would allow for this. Instead you must commit or lose anything in the rack that you have when you want to close the file. If you're done, then great. If it's just the end of the day you can't save your work, close out, and come back.
I have used Audition for editing all of the sound for short films and YouTube series. That can be as simple as cleaning up the mics from actors, to ADR, all the way up to the master mix with music and foley. The built in tools in Premier work great for simple and high level changes, in the same way the Lightroom is great for basic photo retouching. Audition is more like Photoshop in this analogy because you can really dive in and change so much more. The most recent example I can offer is that our warehouse office has a transformer in the building that gives off a multi-harmonic hum. It's constant, thankfully, but it's more than auto tools can kill. Audition's tools have made sure no one has ever noticed it in my recordings.
This DAW works as well as Pro Tools for me at a much lower price!
It does not collaborate well with Pro Tools, so I need to use it beginning to end
This allows me to mix live multi track projects at a very affordable price (part of my monthly Creative Cloud Subscription)
After I finish working with any audio I always do a quick pass in audition and if needed work more thoroughly in it until it achieves the desired quality for the sound or video that is going to be distributed, it helps me catch those little details that otherwise can go unnoticed and as a plus, the GUI is in Spanish, I like to work in my native language whenever possible
It isn't intuitive at all, normally when working with music maker or acid I can easily ask my coworkers for feedback and they can point quite easily where it needs to be improved since practically all understand how to deal with the software even if they never have seen it before but audition while powerful is just hard to understand at first glance
Polishing audio and video that is going to be launched for distribution
