What do you like best about Salesforce Platform?

The Salesforce Platform lets you keep track of current and potentially new customers/clients; it has a HUGE variety of pre-existing tools and functionality you can easily download from the AppExchange. These Apps are downloaded directly into your Salesforce Platform and ready to go. You can create a Sandbox Environment, which is a clone of all your data in your Production Environment (the database where you do your day-to-day work). This Sandbox Environment allows you to test new tools and automation and enables your staff to practice in a place that doesn't affect your live day-to-day data. The things you can do in Salesforce is almost limitless, from creating new flows to automate tedious work, setup rules/requirements so your staff doesn't forget to enter mandatory information, to creating a step-by-step guide for your new staff to easily learn the ropes.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Platform?

Of course, fantastic software doesn't come cheap. The Salesforce Platform can cover all your wants and needs and then some, but it comes with a price. Investing in the Salesforce Platform is a choice you'll need to consider carefully, as it is a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform built to stay in basically forever. Once you're in, you won't want to leave.

What problems is Salesforce Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?

Keeping track of every client and their unique wants/needs can be very challenging. The Salesforce Platform enables you to set up friendly reminders to your staff about upcoming tasks and deadlines. Increased productivity is also seen using the Salesforce Platform since every staff member has their unique user interface (UI) once they sign in. Whether in Sales, Support, Management, or some other job title, the Salesforce Platform allows you to fine-tune each page for each staff member. The ability to filter sensitive information based on who is logging in is beneficial, as not everyone in the company should see sensitive information.

What do you like best about Salesforce Platform?

With Salesforce, it is not only extremely easy to keep track of individual deals, but also to keep track of the status of the companies involved, the contacts, and all the information related to the deal and everything that goes with it. Finally, collaboration with the entire sales team is extremely easy, as everyone can see what the current status is, but can only edit those things for which they have approval.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Platform?

The loading times of the platform are often very frustrating - not only when retrieving individual opportunities, accounts, contacts and leads, but especially when creating and updating reports and especially dashboards. This is definitely something that needs to be worked on to significantly improve the user experience.

What problems is Salesforce Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before Salesforce, we used Excel or Google Sheets to capture the status of our sales processes and collaborate within them. However, the larger the amount of information, the more confusing this way of working became. Only with Salesforce are we able to maintain an overview at all times and no longer overlook any information.

SF doesn't require you to know code so you can start a career with a minimal skill set and then go as far as you want including learning code, become a developer. Really the sky's the limit.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Platform?

There,s honestly not much to dislike. Especially when your Leadership is on board and providing the funding so that you can have the tools and clouds needed to ultimately make THEM look good..

I enjoy how simple it is to make and locate new connections and accounts to get in touch with. Sincerity be told, it is essential to our ability to function as a company. After you learn how to use it properly, it makes life easier with accounts, contracts, keeping things straight, etc.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Platform?

Getting everything in its proper location can be difficult at times, therefore you may need to use other partners or technologies in addition to salesforce. Although having complementing solutions is a good thing, it would be convenient to have everything in one location. Also, based on what I gather, having the SF team create stuff just for you, such survey programmes, might be rather expensive.

What problems is Salesforce Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is either a component of our customer relationship management system (CRM). For sales, customer success, marketing, and other purposes, it houses all of our client data and preserves it in one location.

Too early to tell. But from I do find going from page to page a little slow.

I was not trained on the Salesforce Platform, so everything I update is from clicking around myself. The system is intuitive enough to be able to complete the tasks I need without difficulty or getting confused. The integration to Churn Zero, my primary software for my role is great.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Platform?

However, my main uses are updating information and checking what the sales or other teams have listed in the system from their use. I can speak less about the sales process aspects of the software.

Connecting information from sales and housing client/potential client information that feeds into our Customer Success software. Provides visibility of information on the sales process, any upsells, marketing etc.

What do you like best about Salesforce Platform?

The Price, I think is about $25 a month per seat, so it is an excellent value. Gives my users the access they need and is not noticeable in its limitations if set up correctly.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Platform?

Well, not being able to make setup changes is the reason it is much less expensive but it is limiting for those users who might want to be able to do their own customizing of SF.

It's a cost-effective way to get everyone Salesforce access so that people are not trying to share licenses and logins. People feel more involved when they have their own login.

Configuration can range from very simple to very complex, but the platform gives you all the tools you need to make that configuration straightforward. There is always a way to mold the system to your needs.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Platform?

The transition from Classic to Lightning has been (understandably) gradual. Unfortunately, this makes for some confusing quirks where one may have to configure something in two places.

Salesforce gives a single hub for all the data for our organization. While we have many systems that integrate into it that replace (and improve on) some of the functionality, it gives us that much needed center

I like that it is easy to create and find new contacts and accounts to reach out to. Honestly, it is completely central to our ability to run as a business. With accounts, contracts, keeping everything straight, etc., it makes life easier once you figure out how to use it correctly.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Platform?

Some times it can be a challenge getting everything to the right place, and you have to leverage other partners or tools in tandem with salesforce. It's good that there are complementary solutions, but would be nice if it was all in one place. Also, from what I understand, having the SF team build out things custom for you, like survey programs, it can be pretty costly.

What problems is Salesforce Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is our Customer Relationship Management solution or (CRM). It houses all of our customer data, and keeps it in one central place for sales, customer success, marketing, etc.

I absolutely love doing process enhancement, making people's experience faster, less manual, providing more valuable and actionable data, and making more possible to be done with less manual intervention by the end users. Salesforce is constantly pushing automation forward with new and more powerful options and I love it.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Platform?

There really isn't a lot that I dislike about Salesforce. It can do so many things, sometimes the initial learning curve can be a bit high, but I don't know how you could really address that.

My company provides a managed package to customers to track, automate and run analysis on their data. Salesforce allows us to do everything we need to do, and is continually adding to their capabilities.

There are so many new features being rolled out that it is sometimes hard to keep track. When things are first announced they are always very high-level and this gets executives excited but it can take a while for technical details to make their way to implementation teams.
