I love that Dropbox can be part of my finder folder on my Mac. No need to have the website open to add files and the organization is simple because it follows the rest of my filing system.
It can sometimes be blocked by organizations, so sharing large files has to be done another way. Not really a knock on Dropbox, but it would be helpful if large organizations trusted it for file sharing.
Backing up files to the cloud, sharing with clients, having a single source for materials throughout a group of consultants.
Easy to use, reliable and accesible. I use all day long with all of my team at works.
I tried the Upgrade for Mac and In lost info and took me over a Month to get things back as they were.
Store Data and Communicate and share with others.
EASE OF USE. ACCESSIBLE GLOBALLY, YOU HAVE YOUR FILES ON THE MOVE. STORAGE CAPACITY IS FLEXIBLE AND SUBSCRIPTION CHARGES ARE POCKET FRIENDLY. DROPBOX SAVED ME MEDICALLY WHEN I WAS ON EMERGENCY ADMISSION, I NEEDED TO PROVIDE MY MEDICAL HISTORY AND I DID NOT HAVE MY LAPTOP, ALL I HAD WAS MY PHONE WHICH MADE IT POSSIBLE TO CONNECT ONLINE AND RETRIEVE MY FILES WHICH SAVED MY LIFE, AS IT HAD TO DO WITH MY ALLERGIC REACTIONS TO MEDICATIONS. I WAS SAVED ON THIS PARTICULAR DAY BECAUSE I WAS ABOUT TO BE GIVEN A MEDICATION THAT WOULD HAVE REACTED NEGATIVELY WITH MY METABOLISM, WHICH COULD HAVE LEAD TO DEATH. I CAN NOT OVER EMPHASIZE THE IMPORTANCE OF DROPBOX IN MY LIFE. IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR ALL TO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL, YOU NEVER KNOW YHE MOMENT WHEN YOU WOULD NEED AN IMPORTANT DOCUMENT. THUMBS UP DROPBOX 👍 👌 👏 😀 😊 🙌🏽 👍
I ACTUALLY DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING THAT I DISLIKE ABOUT DROPBOX. IT IS AN AWESOME STORAGE TOOL. THANK YOU DROPBOX.
DROPBOX IS SOLVING MY PROBLEMS OF HAVING TO CARRY MY LAPTOP, EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE STORAGE. FILES ACCESSIBILITY ISSUES. IT MAKES MY JOB ROLE AND PERSONAL LIFE ACTIVITIES MUCH EASIER AND PROVIDES FOR EASY ACCESS TO MY DOCUMENTS AS AT WHEN NEEDED. UNDER SHORT NOTICE.
I like how it links to everything. and how easy it is to use.
how long pictures take to load as I am trying to find one from the past.
It allows me to store all the content I write in one place.
I like the ease of use and availability of my documents
I don't have complaints about Dropbox. I like it's ease of use.
I"m not sure, as I have no problems with it now.
First it is easy to use from uploading whatever files you want and then organizing them is a very simple thingas well. One of my favorite things is the fact that I can share individual files or folders with just a link. I can select what users have permissions to wdit or not. Dropbox is easy for a beginner or a professional. Ive been using dropbox way before cellphones and all there other clouds. Drop box has always been there.others come and go. I use my Dropbox for what is important to me. I made sure every computer i installed windows on had a Dropbox on the desktop. The ease of file sharrong and the security cant be beat in my opinion.
Nothing that I can remember. Never had any issues.
Transferring files from one pc to another without direct hook up or a memory stick.
User-friendly even though it first came about in 2012, Easy to access from anywhere in the world through cloud login as well as downloaded apps on smart devices, I used it every day, easy to install, and integrated for many different usages
It is blocked from many office networks and categorized as unsafe for any cyber security attacks
I used to collaborate with my peers for many freelancing works, and trip partners, as well as to share photos with distant relatives for over 10 years now. Unfortunately, it is marked as unsafe for any office network that I have been part of.
Dropbox always gives us 2 GB of Free Space. It's good for us small businesses.
I think if Dropbox gives 5 GB of Free Space. It's for good.
No problem Facing
It feels convenient to access my documents, works and others from every other device I have. That means I always carry my essentials and can start working wherever I want with any of my devices. The offline availability of the documents also adds to the advantage. It feels also comfortable to collaborate using Dropbox since it provides real-time updates to each document whenever edited or modified. The user-friendliness of the Dropbox infrastructure makes it easily usable and affordable.
Dropbox is still nothing to dislike since it is part of everyday life and work. However, it would have been better to have increased availability of shared space.
Dropbox is helping me to get the ease of access to all my data and documents whenever and wherever I want. It has benefitted me in great way since the day I started using it.
Easy-to-use interface and easy access, thank you
By using Small screen, the display is not very visible
Easy group and team working
Dropbox has a lot of cool features! I think what stands out most is its ease of use and accessibility. It makes sharing files a breeze and keeps everything organized. The ability to sync files across devices seamlessly is also a huge plus. Plus, its collaborative features make it great for teamwork and sharing projects
One thing some users find limiting is the storage capacity for free accounts. It can fill up pretty quickly if you have a lot of files. Also, in terms of security, some people might want more advanced options for encryption or more control over permissions for shared files. But overall, Dropbox has evolved a lot over the years, and many of these concerns might have been addressed in recent updates.
Dropbox solves a range of problems related to file management and sharing. Its core benefit lies in simplifying the process of storing, syncing, and sharing files across various devices.
Easy to use and ability to incorporate the features on any platform to have readily available. I use it everyday.
Password manager. Dislike is too strong of a word. I used it early on and hoped that it could replace LastPass. Perhaps I need to try again.
Ability to store content easily and access from anywhere. The ability to share with others as specified/needed is also a benefit.
Dropbox is a fantastic software that allows us to share files between multiple devices, without hassle and with speed required to run an effective system. It was easy to install and operate across a wide range of devices and is able to be installed on Mac, PC, Android and iPhone.
The only downsides to Dropbox would be the small size limitation for free accounts, otherwise it is fantastic.
Ease of sharing files between devices
I love Dropbox. It allows me to organize all my photos into files and allows me to store more photos than my devices can store. Also allows me to access my Photos photos on one device instead of over multiple flash drives.
It takes a while to upload a bunch of photos and it gets kind of costly on the upgrades
It allows everybody to access your photos for projects
Ease of use, interface, connectivity, etc
File location is a little hard for me to use for some reason.
File storage for large music projects. iCloud is confusing.
It offers a free storage option in the cloud to have all of my important files available anywhere.
It costs money to store more than the free plan option.
file access anywhere
I have been using Dropbox since it's inception. It is a great tool for saving documents to the cloud. I have access to all my files on all my devices. I would highly recommend Dropbox to anyone looking to find a storage solution.
There is nothing I dislike about Dropbox.
Dropbox allows me to have all of my files in one location and backed-up to the cloud, saving computer space and allowing instant access from anywhere.
I find Dropbox indispensible is sharing large (and small) files to indivduals and groups. I use it for music and video projects. The upload/download speeds are now excellent and virtually transparent. I also enjoy being able to access my media on Dropbox through my phone for listening while away from the studio. I use it every day. In the current version it's simple and intuitive to use.
Sometimes the ownership of a folder, etc. can be problematic -- it can be fixed through copying, etc. but that's no fun.
Moving large media files for assessment, development, etc. Sharing relevant documents.
How easy it is to find and share files with friends and colleagues, how simple it is to organise and how it seamlessly integrated with both Windows and Mac without any issue. I can swap between my different computers without any worry or confusion. I've used it every day, constantly since I signed up, unless I don't use a computer at all that day.
It is somewhat expensive, I'd like it if the price was reduced slightly but otherwise it is great. The only feature I would like added is I cannot currently find an easy way to synchronise Dropbox with an external hard drive, because I live somewhere remote I like to use Dropbox to automatically synchronise and update files and as a back up, but I also need a copy saved on the hard drive rather than just in the cloud, Dropbox doesn't seem to have a way to easily include files/folders on external hard drives. If it allowed that it would be absolutely perfect.
Needing to easily share large files with colleagues and easily organise large files such as photos, videos, etc. Being able to password protect it and easily remove permission, etc.
Dropbox excels in its simplicty, ease of implementation, reliability and seamless integration on all my apples devices. You have all the features you need without changes for change sake. This makes it a no brainer to use on a frequent basis with customer support quick and responsive should you need them.
As a videographer I would prefer that my current file size transfer limit was greater than 2GB
Dropbox helps me store vital files for my digital media agency and instantly share them with clients and collaborators.
