I like that if I need assistance, customer service is fairly quick
I don't like that BigTime is designed to have Quickbooks feed to BigTime. We use it the opposite and it doesn't work to it's full potential.
Time-keeping is easier for each employee. BigTime and Quickbooks communicate fairly well.
Once we have it set up it will save time and combine a lot of what I do in several platforms into one place.
It is not user friendly. Not the same language of feel as other software. Integration with Quick Books is not a smooth as it was implied
Reports, project hours tracking, budget tracking.
Many employees can input their time at once and I can quickly see where we are at on any project at anytime.
Synchronization with QuickBooks Online can take a little while. This could be due to many employees entering time for many projects though.
BigTime has been great for my clients to track their time with different projects. It is much more user friendly than other softwares we have seen
It is pleasant to review, seems somewhat intuitive
It's a little clunky. There are a lot of choices and screens. I want to be able to run reports from My Projects under My Company...it seems like just a dashboard, so I'd like to be able to run reports from that.
Keeping track of time.
The prompt response to email support requests and quick resolutions to issues.
Not able to get transferred to a support specialist via phone. Have to leave message and wait for response, which is usually via email, not phone.
Time tracking
The solution gave me suggestions on what I should try in my system to get it solved.
There was a little bit of delay in responses.I am not how ,but the problem was solved at the end of the conversation.I think its a glitch on the site.
We are using big time for time entry. Its easy to add multiple clients and enter time appropriately.UI seems to be good except for the lack of scroll bar in time entry page.
Accurately and somewhat easily records our staff time at an affordable price.
Can't add new projects within timesheet entry field Time does not get recorded for invoicing until submitted by staff. Extra step seems cumbersome and can lead to hours missed.
Accurate time recording.
I quickly got my question answered through online chat, which was helpful. I emailed back to let them know a problem and I quickly got a courteous response.
I was told entire weeks of data could not be copied from one week to another, but i was not not told my admin could just change the dates of entry.
Professional Services Automation.
It is straightforward in terms of looking like a calendar of your week. The mobile app is helpful for when you forget to app your hours while at the office.
I wish there was a way to organize the rows. Perhaps by frequency of use, alphabetical or just as the user wishes.
We use it to track how much time we are spending on projects and then how to appropriately bill for things in the future. At this point in time, the project is too young to have produced any tangible results. But, we were able to see the average time taken to write a byline and relay this info to new hires.
The support techs, they are always happy to help
Having to beta test problems that has u known solutions
Better tracking of timesheets and fixed fee
They were super fast and fixed my problem easily
There is nothing we currently do not like.
WE use big time for time and expenses.
I enjoy how user friendly BigTime is. It is easy to find your own solutions whenever you have questions.
I have only been using BigTime for a month and a half now, so as of now I have no complaints.
I have realized how easy invoicing can be using this application.
The product comes at a low cost and has a very simple UI for employees to enter time.
The UI is almost too simple, exporting information to organize or make reports can be tough. Data is also not automatically saved, if you do not save your progress as you enter information you will have to re-enter it. The expense reporting is also very limited, so we use another form for this instead of going through bigtime.
This creates our time tracking for chargeability and client billing. We also use it for forecasting by reviewing previous project's data that is exported from bigtime to excel.
The reporting features are comprehensive and easy to use.
The look and feel of the newer version is less compact than the older version (I could see more information on a page with the older version, which is a big draw for me). I feel like the newer version has a lot of wasted space.
BigTime helps me to manage our company's travel expenses efficiently.
It connects with Quickbooks Desktop pretty easily and only requires me to do minor administration (every few months I need to sign back in on the server). It has a nice simple interface for employees to enter time.
The timer feature is a good idea, but poorly executed - If I work on a task for 5 days then I end up with 5 rows instead of it consolidating into one that spans the week.
Basic time tracking with some useful reporting.
